I never knew what this was all about, but discovered it recently. Simply check the quotes you want to reply to within a thread, and they will appear within your response post in the order that you checked them.

Sorry but, huh?
You click each quote that you want to respond to (just above the post # you'll see the quotation marks icon at the right bottom corner of each post). Then hit the Reply With Quote button and the above is what you get.

I always wondered how that was done. Finally after 10 years on TERB I learned something useful!! :)

Thanks GP.

By the way, I am off again tomorrow for 5 days. The weather says thunder storms every day, but still 32 degrees!

I just quoted GPIDEAL and Petzel. Rock: Why in blazes would you do such a silly thing?

No, no, you have to grab quotes from at least two different posts. Look at my post above for an example of two different quotes from two different posters in my one post.
Hey, it worked! I was always afraid to try it.

Wrong order though.
In view of the number of jerks on TERB, I too am afraid to try it. Can you imagine quoting more than one jerk in the same post? Too scary!

Damn! I really can't think of anything to add to this conversation.

Hey... all the people so far on this thread are decent. Let the jerks show their true colours themselves.

Funny, in the sports discussion forum I just asked this question to everyone but the only answer I recieved was by shack who said he just copy's and paste the quote square bracket from the single quote function.

So what Im trying to say is.... still can't figure this out...lol

Does anyone know if this works between or across threads?

Yes, I'm too lazy to try it.
