MP...web sites in Ottawa

You can't have a nice website with some almost nude pics on it.
Ottawa's too small man. You can almost dissapear in Toronto. Montreal is a special kind of place.
it's just a small town man. A nice website of a rub parlour would end up on the A-channel or something. And it's not like the Police here are up to their asses in rub parlours so it would only take a week before it's busted.
Discretion is best in this case.

EldrickWoods has an excellent point (dude) - the Ottawa scene is wwaaayyy too small & we're too puny (sp?) a group to have any influence. Only if all the Lurkers and whatnot join in to make a bigger spash - the cops would ignore us if we were a bigger financial influence.EldrickWoods said:

i totally agree with Jas on this one, there is no excuse for a business to not have a website in this day and age. there are smaller, and much smaller cities with plenty of websites websites for mp services, ie Victoria, Winnipeg, heck St. Catharines even.
i think Ottawa is just slow to move on this being a bit more conservative maybe, and also the status quo is hard to change. plus a few years ago, there were only a few decent mp's in town, and not much competition. now that there are (at last count) 40 mp's in town, maybe this will spur some creativity and web deveopment. god knows there are enough i.t. guys on here that would love to help!!
personally i find that a website lends some credibility to a business, and would make me more eager to frequent the establishment. it is a sign of professionalism, investment, and shows that they are not a fly-by-night operation.
as well, the pics do not have to be outrageous or explicit. they can be tasteful, and show us just enough to make an informed decision.

Well it depends on the company. Indies like Jamin or Penny, who seem to have a nerdy streak ( ie. they show up on terb ), it maybe easier for them. But what can a small company do if they really don't understand the tech? More often than not websites become billboards that are setup once and never get updated.
To me it seems if your willing to do a bit of the work, websites are cheap and efficient, but if you want to be hands off, that's were the money gets charged. Look at what alot of guys were saying, when Taylor's pics where promised and not yet posted. Now instead of someone who knows what she is doing, you have some nerd in TO taking his time? Compound that with ladies moving around some or locations moving. Well the sites would turn into static displays.
One alternative would be a Escorts-Ottawa type site or a TRZ, but they can be really expensive and alot of the ladies there don't really update them either.
Lastly, MPs are a little more vulnerable to LE beacuse of their static locations, even if all they provided was massage. And with guys comming on here with detailed reviews or sites with racy "attendant" pics... well some LEs can surf too.

All I am thinking is some sort of reasonably basic page that gives a number and a few photos of the girls.......noth as fancy as whatTO has.
Mind you if some one were to put up a nice site and advertize only on TERB or the "Boards" I think it would go along way.

For any agency or independents looking to create a website you don't have to look any further than Jasmin's site. It's tastefully done and has appropriate information on it.

Hell......the other MP's do not even have to post their services......just some details on who is on staff.

If you are trying to understand this board you need to surf the various threads and see what people are talking about.
