This scene from Field of Dreams always gets me. If you have a son, go out and play with him!

I'm a 50 year old man, and I still start weeping the minute Chris Coopers character looks over at his son Homer, then puts his arm around him. It's a really small thing, but it's very powerful!

When I first watched The Rock. And the seals break in and then get cut down doing their job.

Very sad when people give for the greater good.

Not sure how to embed videos in posts, but two scenes from Leaving Las Vegas.

First scene is where Elisabeth Shue buys Nicolas Cage two gifts and one of them is a flask. The look on both their faces and Nicolas Cage's reaction is hard to watch. The second scene is when Nicolas Cage is playing blackjack and snaps and starts yelling out something along the lines of "I'm their father, you can't judge me."

So if they've been strong so long that they are not strong anymore - then they are now weak - am I missing something here ? Do you find any girls that nod in agreement ?

I don't know if it's old age but I'm much more likely to tear up than in my youth. I just tell the girl I'm with that I've now find that I am more sensitive and connect on emotional levels with people in real life and movies. Of course her dried eye look as I reach for the kleenex because the kid on the screen said I love you mom as he went to school may weaken this excuse.

If your name were Satan or Hitler, then you would be considered weak for crying under any circumstance. For those who have a soul, then crying comes natural of a dramatic/powerful scene you once experience and/or can relate to on the magic screen, like a loss of a love one or an inspirational moment.

You should stop watching porn IM, or loony tunes or whatever you watch and start watching some meaningful movies with heart. It really does cleanse the soul.

GTA
This scene in Forrest Gump gets to me.
The way his entire life revolved around Jenny and when he finally get to marry his dream woman she dies shortly after. She was his best friend and only girl he ever loved since their childhood, that made this scene tough to watch.

Why watch porn and jerk off by yourself when you can have a crying babe beside you watching some nice chick flicks and have wild sex afterwards or during. Watch and learn IM.

When the wife says "can I wait with you", I just completely lose it.

For anybody who has ever had a dog and know their love, this story and movie is truly heartbreaking.
I'm supposed to be getting down and dirty with thermodynamic laws and now I just want to curl under the covers and watch all these movies -_- I refuse to watch Hachiko, I already know how that movie will have me
Having to revisit the memory of a loss dog with one of these movie scenes, can definitely have more meaning and more tears. You should watch "A Dog's Purpose" as well. Every ending has a very sad moment. Don't say I didn't warn you.

As "stupid is as stupid does", everyone wants to be Forrest Gump with all his success and achievements - without Gump realizing it.

This scene got me as well.

I like watching professional sports achievements, especially when it comes to the kickass moment where the crying is more of an inspirational kind of cry.

See IM, even grown football stars cry.

Watched it when it came out. Reminded me of my dog who passed away and I broke down. Made my nephews watch it so they could understand what true loyalty means. I'd recommend you watch it. Just have some kleenex close by.
