The condensed financials they provide in the annual reports are the ONLY ONES they publish as far as I can tell. If they had nothing to hide surely they would be more transparent. So perhaps if you have something to add to prove me wrong, go ahead and post it... or just shaddap yourself. I have posted many links from many credible new orgs about the lack of proof that testing and awareness gives any benefit. If you want to live under a rock fearing cancer will kill you...go ahead. BTW I thought you said I was welcome to my opinion.. clearly you should change your name to "FALSE PROPHET" lolWhy don't you analyze the financial statements rather than the annual report? You really are not very informed about this. For instance, prove the scam, don't just assert it, or please shut up.
The article talks of the errors in diagnoses, treatment, and ignorance in the fight with this disease and says little of the right course. A positive test does not mean the end. It's been known for some time that surgery is not the default response any more. The recent 'research' that you so quickly dump on has shown new ways of looking at the disease and treatment. Gee, we actually know more what to do than we did only a few years ago because of that research. We use to think that many diseases were because of 'vapours'. We were wrong them as well. The life expectancy of many cancer sufferers has increased greatly in recent years, some as much as 50%, why? Research.

The credibility only exists until you scratch the surface and see their flaws and shortcomings.I have no problem with cancer research, just that this cancer is the wrong one to focus on. The article does offer a right course - don't worry about it, because testing and early detection provide no benefit and can be detrimental as well as causing mental anguish that is misplaced. Movember is just another organization that preys on your fear to separate you from your cash.

Well I googled them and it did not pop up. In either case, the financial statements are not significantly more detailed then what is in the annual report...there are many items that could be more detailed, notes are lacking and no salary disclosure is provided. They say nothing about how much they pay the Movember organization either...You sir, are an idiot.

You are welcome to your opinion, as I stated. Unfortunately it is an uninformed and unsubstantiated one.
I said those things specifically about Prostate Cancer. Not about cancer in general. So please stop generalizing like some panicked schoolgirl. Prostate Cancer should not be something you worry about unless there is a significant history of it in your family. Screening will not help you. Many credible news organization have reported research that confirms this. So what is your logic in continuing down the path of screening? Even if you do die from Prostate cancer, you are likely to die at an old age... so if it does not kill you, something else will in a few years. The credibility only exists until you scratch the surface and see their flaws and shortcomings.
You made the initial claim that they were being dishonest and hiding something in their bookkeeping, so you need to offer the facts, not anyone else. It's clear now you don't have the facts or sources to make the claim.
No one who has posted in this thread has expressed a fear of cancer, certainly not I, nor prophet. No fear doesn't mean no respect for its dangers or the the battle against it.
Don't worry, be happy? Really? As I said, it's clear you've never had to deal with it nor has any one close to you.
Nothing I posted could not be applied to PC, so my comments still stand. apparently. You really are spinning your wheels.I said those things specifically about Prostate Cancer. Well then even though you have not expressed fear, you have certainly displayed it (either that or willful ignorence). If the scientific community is telling you based on research (maybe even some funded by Movember) that awareness and screening does not improve the outcome and may have many unintended negative consequences, why else would you chose to ignore it. But of course we can all tell by your unflinching defense of the cops that you are a pretty dogmatic person. Not really swayed by logic, reason and now science.Nothing I posted could not be applied to PC, so my comments still stand. apparently. You really are spinning your wheels.
Agreed. However whomever said that getting a prostate exam from a female doctor is pleasant is full of kaka.
Love it! lolAgreed.
My GP is a smoking hot woman with a great personality. I have seen a lot her in the last five years due to ortho ops and we have established a nice relationship. The last time she gave the prostate finger, I turned to her and said "Trish, just so you know, this does not mean we are going steady". She howled with laughter. When the visit was over, and we were exiting her office, the receptionist asked what all the laughter was bout.
Brilliant! Damn, wish I had thought of thatLove it! lol
When the receptionist asked what all the laughter was about, you should have said "oh, we were laughing about her finger up my ass".
Good one CelticmanAgreed.
