State of Israel finished?
It occurred to me that the State of Israel may be finished. It is just a matter of time...when and not if. Who will be the architect of Israel's undoing...the Israelis and the Zionists supporting the state. The timeline will be within the next 50 years, which is a lifetime for us today but a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of world history.
Let's look at it rationally, leaving out the religious rhetoric. God is not a real estate arbitrator and the Bible are not legal title deeds for land. Anyone who argues otherwise has self identified themselves as a religious zealot.
We live in the 21st century and the reality of the global village is upon us. The agreed upon political model is an open, secular democracy where every citizen has the right to vote, free speech, freedom to worship, etc, etc. The only state that will survive in the future will be open, secular democracies and any dictatorial, racist or unjust regimes will be opposed by the rest of the free world.
1. The Jews in Israel are a minority, have always been a minority and will always be a minority in that region.
2. Over the last 1400 years, the Moslems have governed the land with the exception of a 125 odd years by Crusader rule.
3. Prior to the establishment of the Israel, Palestine was governed by the Ottoman Empire. The land was owed by Arabs, Christians and Jews (who owned about 7% of the land). All religious groups lived without conflict or persecution as they had for at least 500 years.
4. Israel was established with the aid of Britain, France, the US and others as the Ottoman Empire crumbled (which is another story altogether).
5. Land was taken from the current land owners (Moslems, Christians, etc) and given to Jews.
6. The Jews have declared Israel, a Jewish State. This by its nature is a rascist position in that it is contradictory to an open, secular democracy.
7. The rule of the Jews over the former Moslem and Jewish residents and owners of the land have been unjust. Look at the settlements.
8. The brain washing that Israel and its Zionist supporters are doing to Jews in Israel and all over the world to support its aggressive control and occupation of the land is warping the souls of decent Jews and non Jews.
9. The moral authority of the Israeli government will crumble in front of the world and its citizens. There will be great internal conflict.
10. The natural course of things will cause the Israeli government and Jews to crumble as did the Crusaders of the past. Unfortunately, it will be a bloody end due to injustice committed to establish the state.
It could be different if the Jewish conquerors and occupiers adopting a more benevolent approach to their subjects and a commitment to establishing a true open, secular democracy.
