I have heard from Moto Q users it is a great phone and PDA but not a great smart phone as far as functionality goes...... maybe look at the O2 series or as was mentioned earlier the Palms.

b uddy of mine with a small company has ~40 of them in a closet, he bought them for all of his emplayees and a wek later baxed them in favour of blackberrys. He said the reception is garbage, the units lock up at least 2 or 3 times a day.

Lol Shiek.

Got one two weeks ago and love it. I miss a touch screen, but hey it's like an Apple. Reduced flexibility, decreaes the odds of chaos.

Had a treo 650 and that was truely a piece of dung, thick and heavy too. You want a handheld computer buy one. You want a cell that can do e-mail, txt, contacts and meetings, the Q does the job well. No crashes yet. Oh and two batteries included. Lol we'll see why 2 are included soon enough I guess.

Only thing I hated. I had to sell my soul to Telus to get it cheap. The Nokia E61 looked good, but Rogers doesn't offer it, only the damaged E62. Was impatient, so trying out the Q for now.

LOL @ Lurker, I suppose Motorola may be a YMMV then, because I know myself and everybody I know we all have had poor experiences with Motorola. Regarding the Nokia E61, or N60 for that matter: You do know you can buy the phones unlocked, right?
