Just call the hotel you are interested in and ask if they do day rates. If they have availability, most do. All hotels will accept cash for final payment, but will need a credit card and will put a hold on it for incidentals/ damage.
Apparently your not that clever as a simple internet search would tell you there aren't any hotels in the area of Yonge and 401. The closest thing you would find in that area would be either Novotel which is between Sheppard and Finch, or the the Willowdale Hotel which is at Sheppard and Willowdale.
no . You can not refund money back to vanilla mastercards/ visas once they are used.

That is interesting. Was it a high amount or one of those ones you can load yourself that doesnt have a set limit?
It was a prepaid visa that you have load between 200-500 that you get from shoppers.
I think they are Joker Prepaids.
I have had paypal return the money to the credit card. I just can’t pay for subscriptions with it.

Oh yeah, I was referring to the vanilla visa / mastercards. I think they must be two different companies.
I know I tried to get money back onto a vanilla mastercard one time and they would not do it.
I didn’t realize they were different companies. My bad.
I use the Joker one because it is accepted internationally without issue. I think I tried the vanilla one for my hosting in Switzerland and it was not accepted so I haven’t used it since.
