100%. Couldn’t agree more with the young Turks and well said. I’ve aiways thought this. Why can’t the government stay the fuck out of our bedrooms? Also the young lady brings up a good point about porn. Porn is accepted by society but two adults agreeing to have a consenting transaction is not? Isn’t porn also a consensual agreement between adults to have sex for money?

Do you think the law did us in? There are definitely far fewer hot escorts than a few years ago.
Well of course it’s the law’s fault! Should have left well enough alone. Pre C-36, buying sex was legal; now it isn’t. Any hobbyist could be arrested at any time. Moreover, the supposed constitutional challenges to this law have not materialized, so we’re likely going to be stuck with it forever. It’s made playing the game a lot more hazardous and yes, plenty of hot babes and some hobbyists give pause and a sober second thought to getting involved. As I said, dingbats should have left it alone.

Lower court decision today struck down the prostitution law provisions limiting hiring security, advertising and communications, effective immediately. Still nothing on the most bizarre part of the law where a service is legal to sell but illegal to buy.

Doug Ford is proposing that hotels keep registries of all guests and warrants aren't required for any place that is not a dwelling.

I support cracking down on human trafficking, but this will likely miss the mark and put more women at risk.
that sounds very stupid.

Hotels pretty much have that info. Since most non-dive hotels require you to use a credit card, either to pay or as a deposit (where you can't use a pre-paid card).

That said, I guess pimps can get the girls to check in under their own name keep them off the books, but it's one more hurdle.

Unfortunately for traffickers if this industry is ever going to be legalized, keeping records is just the cost of doing business.
