Teri Hatcher and Halle Berry should not have been Bond girls, IMO.
I agree on Teri Hatcher, but not Halle Berry.

Why not...because she is a "woman of colour"?

I'm forgeting Grace Jones on purpose, she was used for just shock value.

I just LUV Halle!!!:)

I always thought the 2 redheads in Thunderball were just gorgeous.

Guess they were Luciana Paluzzi and Claudine Auger

Tatiana: The mechanism is... Oh James, James...
Will you make love to me all the time in England?
James Bond: Day and night. Go on about the mechanism.

For me the top 5 Bond Girls are:

1. Britt Eckland (Mary Goodnight from The Man with the Golden Gun)
2. Ursula Andress (Honey Ryder from Dr. No)
3. Barbara Bach (Agent XXX from The Spy who Loved Me)
4. Tanya Roberts (Stacey Sutton from From a View to a Kill)
5. Diana Rigg (Tracy Di Vicenzo from On Her Majesty's Secret Service)

Number FIVE?! You're kidding, right? No surviving photographs of Helen of Troy, nor Cleopatra -- on available evidence, the award for world's most attractive woman ever -- the one at the actual top of the (very tall) tree -- has to go to Diana Rigg.

she is cute...but i have to say(sorry) she is the weakest bond girl...wasn't believable as "nuclear scientist" she is a bubble head blonde. but i wouldn't kick her out of bed if she farted.
....side note Tanya Roberts was Hotter as a Charles Angel ..with RedHair ..MEOW.
additional note...they had a documentary on "Bond Gals" the other night...do you believe their is a curse being a Bond Girl?

a tie between Carole Bouquet (For Your Eyes Only) - facially she is the most beautiful, and Barbara Bach (Spy Who Loved Me), damn she was hot!

True, Diana Rigg is great. My list is based on hotness in the sense that if I could spend a day with any of the girls (as they were the year each film was released) followed by a one night stand of fun in bed, who I would pick.

Diana Rigg in the film is pure class - there is a reason she is the only Bond Girl Bond married. If I was going to marry one (in character) of the Bond Girls then like Bond, I would pick Diana Rigg. The only time I shed a tear at the movies was when as a youngster I saw the scene where Tracy/Rigg is killed in the submachine gun fire on the car on her wedding day. For just a day, Britt Ekland would be my fantasy girl. For life, it would be Diana Rigg.

Oh, Denise Richards was hot too - if I expanded my list from 5 to the top 10 Bond Girls, Denise would be on it. Since I didn't religiously wait for the release of Bond films post 1987, the earlier pre-1987 Bond Girls made more of an impression on me.

No, it's not because Halle Berry is black; it's because she was too well-known at the time to be a Bond girl. I should have also mentioned Denise Richards; too "famous" to be a Bond girl.

Like Star Wars, the Bond films were always good at introducing new talent to the screen. As well as showing exotic locales and women to an un-worldly American audience.

I have no problem with American or African-American Bond girls. Carey Lowell was a fine Bond girl, and unknown at the time. There were black Bond girls in Live and Let Die, and I'm fine with that.

But to see a Bond film, IMHO, is to see new sights and sounds. Established TV/film stars in Bond films, especially leading ladies, detracts from that experience, IMO.

My list;
Ursala Andress,
Maude Adams (she was in two Bond films)
Diana Rigg

As the top 3... then all the rest tied for the number 4 position :D

As for Halle Berry being too famous, jesus dude, honor blackman was tremendously famous back in the day. There have been few bond girls who aren't famous in some way.

As for the week of Bond on MPIX. I overdosed on Bond. Got to be tired really fast lol.

Anyone notice how extremely cheesy the older ones were? I mean damn...in Diamonds are forever, when bond is being chased in the lunar rover he drives past a dune, a chase car rolls over, and one of the rover's wheels rolls through the shot, AND THEY LEFT IT IN LOL and in the next scene he's driving along with 4 wheels.

The week long run ended at "the living daylights" and I have to say, casino royale was THE best of the bunch. (well, it DID have a DB9 in it, gawd that car is sex on wheels).

I did come to one conclusion: roger moore making out with some hottie is like watching old people fuck, it may happen but I just don't want to see it. I liked him back when the movies just came out but when you see it in the context of all the movies, he was SO "the stiff assed brit". Sean is and always will be, the ultimate bond.

In the corner
Barbara Bach does it for me. No replacement for Sean Connery, although the latest film is the best one for many years IMHO

As For Daniel Craig/Casino Royale. Yeah, DC has the edge that Roger Moore didn't. I think they've brought bond into the 21st century which what you'd expect a commando/secret agent to be. (no pussy).

What fucks me up though is casino royale was about when bond first got his double O status, yet M is Judi Dench and all the others were supposedly "after" casino royale.

I think they should have (for continuity sake) set Casino Royale back in the 60's. (Kind of like enterprise was a prequell)

I tell you though, the DB5 was ahead of it's time. I still think it's a hot car even by today's standards. Least we now know where he got it from. I forget what show it was on but they found the original from Goldfinger. Wasn't in TOO bad of shape but needed a lot of work.
