I finally relented and got the works (call display/privacy/screen). I resisted initially because I didn't want the telemarketers to win one over me. Now private/unkown numbers don't even ring through. Many numbers are obviously spoofed so I don't pick those up. If I don't recognize a number, I google it and the results tell me instantly if it's a telemarketer (my voice mail picks up on 6 rings which gives me enough time to do this as I'm at my computer most of the time). Repeat callers go on the block list.

I now use a fake "ethnic" type voice and get all indignant on them. I demand to know where they found out I kept dirty ducks. I insist all my ducks be "real clean" with plump breasts.
They hang up.
I have primus for my phone line and they have a filter on, I get almost no calls the ones that get thru you add them to the telemarketer list by using *44, then the number is banned from calling you ....all included in the 20 bucks a month
