I finally relented and got the works (call display/privacy/screen). I resisted initially because I didn't want the telemarketers to win one over me. The law in Canada (Unlike the states) does NOT require telemarketers to show their number on your call display. They even sometimes used spoofed Caller ID strings or simply show up as private and/or unknown numbers. Besides, on cells you can't block numbers selectively, at least not that I know of.
