More on Ottawa-Gatineau clubs

Lots of comings and goings these days. I'd like to see this discussion liven up, so here's a few (long) notes:

Playmate: lots of new faces, some good, some... 'nuf said. The newest young talent is from Gatineau and apparently thinks being eye candy is sufficient for charging $20/dance -- that is, YMMV but I think the quality is going down not up in the rooms. My advice is ignore the 19-yr-old bikini totty and stick with the older girls.

Isabelle (yes, THAT Isabelle, she of the D cup) seems to be back working part time at the Mate and rest of time in Montreal... but she has acquired a Montreal-sized attitude (not that her attitude needed enhancement to start with) so be warned. I was her customer for about five years, off and on, and the first time she walked by me a couple of months ago, after her return, she barely acknowledged my existence. Okaaaaay....

Long-time Mate fans may be interested to know that Anita the waitress has gone back to dancing. Not a high-mileage proposition by any means, but if she floats your boat, she mostly works days. Couple of the older dancers now waitress instead. Weird job exchange plan they have going there .

Re Veronica/Veronika question in the other post: if it's either of the ladies I know (the 5ft, light black/mulatto,ummm butt OR the Czech blonde) both working currently back at the Mate.

Pigales: Some recent renovations and second stage in action. Big deal. Lots of transient faces in the last two weeks, including recent mini-invasion by Hungarians and Russians out of Montreal. YMWDV, I have had nice and lousy experiences with a couple of them. Not lookers for sure, by the way. I would not be surprised if takeout were high on the menu with at least one or two that I have seen.

Natina: eye candy at its finest and a pretty good dance, I guess whatever floats your boat but she didn't launch mine.

Alexsandra: one word: wow, particularly for those into MILF. One friend of mine claims that staring at her butt as she walks toward the rooms is worth a green all by itself. Classy lady and a great experience.

I saw her about two weeks ago. I was there on both the Tuesday and the Thursday, but don't remember which night I saw her.

I would try on Thursday or Friday nite.

She has always been a regular at the Mate, she worked on and off at Pigales for a while but Pigales now has a rule that girls who dance there cannot dance anywhere else in the area so I guess she decided to stay at the Mate instead.

Pigs instituted their new rule last year, and since then a number of girls left as a result.

Sophie and Annabelle

I would find the weight gain story a bit hard to believe -- it would not be the first time one dancer made up some ignorant shit about another she has a beef with or jealous of.

I last saw Sophie maybe four? months ago, she was leaving the club as I arrived (dressed in a tight sweater and even tighter stirrup pants) and there was no issue with her figure, let me assure you .

I last saw Annabelle two months or so prior to that, when she came in to drop something off to her sister at the Mate. She might have gained some weight, but it wasn't an issue for me.

That being said, let's bear in mind that they are/were at the Mate for, oh, eight years or more so they aren't little girlies anymore. Someone could make a snide comment that they were a bit wider in the hips than before....

About being presentable on stage: frankly, there were one or two girls there last time I visited who were waaaay beyond any backend spread the twins might be showing :-0, and didn't have anything else to recommend them either.

I sort of feel like dropping by there one of these days, so if I see any of the 'old' girls I will ask what is up with the Sophie and Annabelle.

If she was also the source of the Isabelle comment, I'd advise taking both with lots of salt unless you hear the same from someone else. She is a five-star biaaatch, make sure you count in back with her, etc. I've seen her in action, and some of it ain't pretty even by club standards.

If Isabelle is working at the border club, I suspect it will show up pretty quickly on MERB as she has been mentioned there more than once in discussions about best eye candy in Mtl, etc.

I am definitely going to pay a visit to the Mate and see who whispers what into my shell-like ear....

Sorry to hear that about Virginia, but maybe that goes toward explaining why she doesn't seem to have any regulars. She is always number one for hitting on the first-timers before they've even grabbed a beer.

I had never sampled her merchandise myself, and now I'll pass.

Actually that is one problem I have never had at Pigs, and over the years at the 'Mate I ran into it many, many times (usually from girls who were new or just passing through on a road trip).

At Pigs it can be much worse due to the trimmed songs, if you stay in the back for any length of time -- things add up quickly.
