Well, I'm not surprised. I've been following Joe's "career " since the Clarence Thomas hearings- one of the dumbest Senator without a doubt. Now, the moron is also senile, can't even read the teleprompter. The Executive Branch is without leadership so it was not hard to forsee the collapse. I certainly saw it and, frankly, I thought it was obvious. But, since he got the votes, I guess not. Well, the American people are now paying for trusting the media that sold Joe as a viable leader.

One of the worst things that happened to Team Biden was the Democrats winning the two runoff elections for the Senate.
Once they gained control of the Senate by the thinnest possible margin, they quickly bought into the wild theory that Biden could be the new FDR. Never mind that the struggling economy at the time wasn't due to market forces but because governments had locked down much of the world due to COVID-19.
It was crazy to think the self-declared "moderate" who was elected to restore calm could usher in a wholesale restructuring of the U.S. economy with such slim support. That was compounded by the fact they didn't know what they were doing when it came to things like their energy policy.
I expected the Biden administration to be pretty awful. But it has been far worse than anyone could have imagined.
A very astute observation. In the Canadian terms, the Democrats decided to govern as if they had a majority- they sort of did, but it took one Senator to stop them in their tracks. And throw them.into disarray. Now the problems are piling up and no one is doing anything- the polls are crystal clear on that.

Every time the Democrats lose a vote in the Senate, you get people like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren claiming the will of the "majority" is being thwarted.
