This is just beyond belief
Indian Canadians who have relatives in India WANT to let Federal Govt to ALLOW them to come to Canada and use Canadian hospitals

India right now is in a far worse place than the US is, and we have prevented many US / Canadian families from re-uniting so why should we even consider letting sick Indians come here???

" why should we even consider letting sick Indians come here???"

Why?

1. They are Canadian citizens?

2. They will have to quarantine when they arrive.

I'd consider making them be confined somewhere under guard until they repeatedly test negative, have no symptoms, etc.

"If" they pay taxes here, then they should be able to use our health care.
If they hold Canadian passports live elsewhere and havent paid taxes, then make them cough up some dough to the CRA before they can enter.

Nice, combine covid conspiracy theories with racism. Sorry TJ but Canadian citizens all over the world have been looking to come home.

And reality check, OHIP won't cover them if they weren't residing here at least 6 of the last 12 months.

The man speaking in the video says he has a visa. Would a Canadian citizen need a visa to travel here? If they’re not citizens then the answer is No. Canadians don’t want Americans coming here right now. A country with over 70k new daily infections is fine though? Another example of cowards living in fear of being called the dreaded R word

These are NOT Canadian citizens
They are people applying for
Or trying to get family status to let others in

Good try though

Didn't watch the video, hence the question mark i posted.

In any case, residents (citizens?) of Canada want to bring their spouses, children & or other relatives to Canada.

What's wrong with that.

As i said, quarantine & or test them repeatedly before letting them roam free.

What's the problem?

You're against families reuniting?

You think young people & children are high risk re C-19?

Beyond trolling and running up your post counts
It is beyond obvious what the video is about just by title alone
You have this bizarre incessant need to comment on everything even the things you know nothing about

This whole blurb just reinforces the "didn't watch the video" part of your argument

But as Captain Obvious would point out; allowing people to sponsor parents / spouses from a country that is just starting to spike pretty much guarantees you will get a spike here

By that same thought process why not just open the US border today?
US has fewer cases than India who is just starting to spike

p.s. No need to wait for a second wave. A month ago, Toronto was seeing single digits in new cases while anyone who wanted a test could get one. Now we have crept up to 45 despite testing now limited to people with symptoms or contact.

How is that? And BTW i have watched it.

Deaths are not spiking. Instead they've been quite flat for a long time, unlike the failure that is the USA:

Opening the US border is not the same as quarantining & testing a relatively small number of Indian family members who want to rejoin their family members in Canada. Surely you don't need an explanation of why there is a humongous difference between the two, do you?

Small number?
Try 4.4 MILLION people have recently entered
You are delusional if you think they are all in quarantine

Again this just proves utter ignorance on your part

The USA does not have fewer cases than India, and what you keep repeating is opposite to the facts

------------------cases------------------deaths--------------cases/Mln--------------deaths/Mln
USA-----------6,300,000+----------191,000+----------19,000+------------------577
India----------3,900,000+----------68,000+------------2,800+--------------------50

Matter of fact us has more than 11X the number of deaths/Mln, and more than 6X the number of cases/Mln
Even if India does surpass USA in the number of cases they would have to do so by as much a 4X to have a similar number of cases/mln

Not fully correct as usual as that number included Canadians who are travelling outside the country and back as well as all foreigners.

Around 4.4 million Canadians and foreigners have entered by land or air since March 23.

That's still above 95% lower then the 55Mln+ number of Canadian's and foreigners combined that enter Canada on a yearly basis.
Here is the link Teejay didn't provide because it clearly shows travel is down over 90% in comparison to previous years.

Yes they all do quarantine, have had numerous family members and friends travel to (China, Sweden, UAE, Italy, Spain) and come back, every single one at the airport was given strict instructions on how they must quarantine for 14 days, paper signed and even asked how their groceries were going to be delivered. Almost all have had people contacting them twice a day to make sure they are home. Your delusional if you think all minus a few covidiots are not quarantining.

I am glad we've turned away more than 15,000 American's at our borders since the shutdowns of borders, they can keep that shit down south. Shutting our borders has been working fine.

I said nothing about how many "are all in quarantine". So irrelevant.

Who cares how many "have recently entered". Also irrelevant to my comments.
