The old lady or kid who serves your happy meal works hard too but I'm sure most of us don't tip them anything.

I'd like to see employers pay the employees a decent salary and stop expecting the customers to subsidize the wages

Employers view tings a little differently than you might suspect
If you take the risk to open, own , run a restaurant you will have expectations of taking home profits
$150 K minimum for all the trouble and risk
If you add $2-3 / hr to each employees wage to make up for tips , that comes out of the $150K profit.
But you will want (need) that $150K so either
a) you lay someone off
b) you increase prices

I suspect you do not want the first option.
With the second option all you have accomplished is to take the discretion to tip away, from the customer, which I do not like

I just find it amusing that a guy like you, who posts continuously (like a broken record in fact) bashing the working man in Canada, would quote John D Rockefeller (who by all accounts was a world class scumbag) in a thread about tipping restaurant staff.

The inference in asking you if you would lick his cock were he alive today is that you are the kind of guy who is so in awe of the ultra rich that you would drop to your knees and lick his cock if you were given the opportunity.
