When I am in Montreal, I see SP's now so I don't excactly know about the SC scene anymore.
Here is a suggestion. Its not always easy, but if you can find a cab driver who looks cool, and speaks your language, they can be a great source of Information.
5 years ago I got a great tip from a cabbie to a place where you could get full mileage from girls in an SC. This club has long since been closed down, but when one closes, another pops up.
The locals in Montreal are the ones who will know best!
Have you tried looking through MERB?

Here's my take:

Most nightclubs are on Crescent St. and St. Laurent north of Sherbrooke, most have 10$ covers so bar hopping is expensive. I don't go to many night clubs so not sure which ones to hit.

SC's: Wandas and Chez Paree are the only two non-contact, by far the hottest chics of all the SC's, Wanda's is my fave, 8$ dances and 100$ for 1 hour VIP, 50$ for half hour.

As for contact, Club Downtown and Gentlemens Choice are right beside each other and aren't bad but I find them dirty with not many hot chics, Downtown probably being better. Kama Sutra is 15$ contact dances and is cleaner with decent girls. Most of the contact clubs have a few hot chics each but also have some real dogs.

Super Sex is right on St. Catherine St. and used to be the best in the city, now it's contact and I have heard it's gone downhill.

What are you really looking for? If it's strip clubs I like Chez Paree for gorgeous women and Cafe Cleopatra for the experience. Years ago, when I visited my hometown, I would rent a car and try to hit as many strips as I could in one night. Kind of crazy...run into one..get a drink...hop in the car...drive to another...get a drink...

Think the record was about five or six...

If you're looking for the club scene; Crescent St. is/was the place to be for the more English crowd while St. Denis St. is the same for the French crowd. I could be wrong since I haven't been there for quite a while.

depends

what you're looking for of course....

st. laurent is very upscale, with lots of trendy clubs, hot servers and bartenders, and a hip, well dressed crowd. globe is fun, and very very hot servers (i call the hostess "seabiscuit", i'll let you figure out why).

There is a pedestrian road about 500m north of Sherbrooke off St. Laurent that is alot more low key, pubs and the like, some live music. several byob places if you want a less expensive dinner.

crescent is the place for cheap drinks. happy hour 2 for one specials and lots of patios keep this place jumping with the after work crowd and students. between rene levesque and sherbrooke is the hub.

st. catherine for strip clubs, you'll find them all in a row, however chez paree is just south. super sex is decent in the evening, several hot girls. don't bother with the "VIP seating" there are plenty of good, free seats.

if you want the real charm of montreal, the old city is amazing. cobblestone streets, parisian cafe's and restaurants, and a great feel. lots of patio's, several curbside, makes this a great place for people watching.

ENJOY!

Most of the restaurants on St. Laurent you are required to eat if you want to drink, city bylaw, I think Le Blanc is the only one where you can just drink. Old Montreal is very cool.

YEs... I will also be heading to montreal on the coming long weekend, for the first time. Is there any other thing that MUST be seen\done besides SC and clubs.

Also try TERB's sister site...

Hi, aabbaa and ak,

For the latest and local info, why not check out MERB?

Do a bit of research there and ask your questions away, the montreal crowd would welcome you with open arms...That`s how I got started in 2003...

Yes, Merb is good. When I go I like to do new things, I don't go to SC there so much, because they are similar to here. For new things, there are several 24/7 swinger clubs, including Club 3333 and Hotel Lust. They are oriented towards single (straight) guys, Lust sometimes has gang-bangs.

Also, they have sexy restaurants, like a regular restaurant, except the server is nude. No sex or anything. At one level it is stupid, because there is no sex. But there is something enjoyable about having a regular restaurant experience, only the waitress happens to be nude. There is a thread about them on merb.

The many faces of St. Laurent street.

St. Laurent ( or St. Laurence to the anglos ) can be many things. If you start off at the lower end near Rene Levesque Blvd., you are in China Town Then if you go a few streets up to St. Catherine street you are in the old red light district. Do not look for any SWs here, if you find them it will only be the broken down drug addict types. The only thing that is of any interest may be Cleopatras Strip Club. It is sort of a low class dive that offers slutty girls, on a scale of 1 to 10 they will range from 4 to 8. If they ask you if you are a tourist, say yes. you will see $$$$$ in their eyes. Just tell them that you are waiting for your cousin to show up and you will take a danse later. I have had them rub up to me like cats when things are slow in the mid afternoon.
Further up the street on St. Laurent north of Sherbrooke you will get the trendy restaurants and bistros. ( over priced )

"downhill" is a subjective thing. They now have the best private girl/girl shows you can see anywhere outside of Amsterdam. Come out after your evening there and turn left on St Catherine and have some late night food at the Alouette Steakhouse, Excellent rib steaks, and VERY cold beer.

I reserve all my hobbying for Montreal.

GTA is expensive, I can get 3 to 4 time more mileage out of my money in Montreal, you just have to know where to look. The food is also less expensve and much better.

We hit a restaurant/bar there with cool music & pool table darn, can't remember the name.

Guys & girls from my sports team checked out few gay clubs supposedly lots hot bods, many were straight, so they claim.

We usually reserve an afternoon walking thru there.

I made wrong turn once & found few really amazing french bakery/cafe in French speaking part of Montreal that rival sweets from Paris.

Try Chez Cora for breakfast.

My opinion differs on the above I think TO has caught and now passed Montreal in terms of the number of excellent restaurants. As far as cost is concerned have you eaten at Le Qeue de Cheval or in old Montreal recently? Yikes! Dinner for two - $300 to $400 (with wine).

Montreal is tops in terms of sp's though.

I just moved here from Montreal after a five year stay so I know a bit of the scene. If you want full contact SC in downtown, Cleopatra just north of Chinatown has the most mileage and features only $10 dances but quality of the girls varies. Other mentioned clubs are mostly eye candy. A bit north of downtown is Solid Gold which is contact but are $15 per dance.

For FS clubs, you have to go off island into Laval, or west in Dorion just across the bridge where there`s a place called Hilltop. Also, when you are coming into Quebec, just across the border is Frontiere which is also good. But for FS clubs, it`s $20 per dance, $80 for BJ and $160+ for FS. However, it`s usually a time limit of about 3 songs so it might be a rip off to many guys.

There`s also a topless restaurant called Bernies which is good for lunch. Better than Hooters. Of course, there`s also the incall and outcall scenes. I have several reviews on https://merb.cc
