Worst Jersey, but they won...worst jersey in sport franchise history (even worst than Vancouver Canucks)!
They are masters of hitting the goalie in square in the chest, making guys like Halak look much better than they are.
that's no joke, I wonder who the guy was that thought it was a good idea to bring that one back....worst jersey in sport franchise history (even worst than Vancouver Canucks)!
its going to be interesting , he's going to have quite a bit of pressure on him.Kessel is supposed to be a great shootout shooter. Back on Tuesday.
Yep he is the answer.Kessel is supposed to be a great shootout shooter. Back on Tuesday.
He was traded, so he had no control over where he plays this season. He was an unsigned RFA. Boston put their priorities elsewhere because in spite of his on ice production, he was a bad influence in the dressing room. The only choice he had was to take $2m less with Boston. And what kind of an idiot would do that?I feel so sorry for this guy.
What was he thinking signing and/or being traded to the Laughs?
Terrible decision.
He'll regret leaving Boston within 6 weeks.
Don't believe for a minute that Phil Kessel didn't have a hand in where he was dealt. That's why I said "signed and/or traded". The leafs and bruins were in talks for weeks about this trade and if you believe Kessel and his agent weren't invovled then I have a bridge I really need to sell you.He was traded, so he had no control over where he plays this season. LOL well dj, I don't generally put lots of money down on my knowledge of the inner workings of restricted free agency, so I am afraid you are out of luck on that bridge deal. So enlighten me. How and why were Kessel and his agent involved in the deal? Isn't that what no movement/no trade clauses are for? As far as I know, Kessel didn't have one. So why would Bruins management want to consult with the player and his agent about where he is going to play after he is traded?Don't believe for a minute that Phil Kessel didn't have a hand in where he was dealt. No team will take on a player of Kessel's talent in a trade considering what they would have to give up to get him and not know whether they could sign him. In other words the team getting Kessel would have to know he would sign with them before they would make the deal.LOL well dj, I don't generally put lots of money down on my knowledge of the inner workings of restricted free agency, so I am afraid you are out of luck on that bridge deal. Makes sense. Thanks. No team will take on a player of Kessel's talent in a trade considering what they would have to give up to get him and not know whether they could sign him. In other words the team getting Kessel would have to know he would sign with them before they would make the deal.
The Leafs did not just deal away two firsts and a second and were just hoping he would sign with them, they knew ahead of time which was proven when he signed as soon as the deal was announced.
Well that is just an injustice to society....worst jersey in sport franchise history (even worst than Vancouver Canucks)!
