lol... Please don't use Robinson and Brisbois in same sentence.pinkquack said:The spirits of les Canadiens will make an appearance tonight. Dryden/Price, Robinson/Brisbois, LaFleur/Kovalev: how can we lose?
It's kind of funny how the one game the Flyers outplayed (not counting goal tending) the Habs is the one game they lost, game 1. Gee, if they hadn't collapsed in the 3rd it would have been a sweep!Les_Habitants said:Nos Canadiens have been playing better than the Flyers … we've just haven't been able to score on Biron.
Easy ... the Flyers have your number!!!pinkquack said:The spirits of les Canadiens will make an appearance tonight. Dryden/Price, Robinson/Brisbois, LaFleur/Kovalev: how can we lose?
Hey L_H shouldn't you be out getting your post game celebratory supplies, just in case those nose hairs .....errrr nos habs win tonight? You know, hot dogs, marshmellows, book of matches, lighter fluid. Could be a real riot on St. Cath Street tonite. Don't forget to wave your little white flags proudly.Les_Habitants said:There have been 20 teams that have trailed 3 games to 1 yet managed to come from behind and win the series.
Nos Canadiens are the last team to have managed a comeback after being behind 3 games to 1. During the 2004 playoffs, nos Canadiens were down 3 games to 1 against Boston, and then came back to win 3 in a row to eliminate the Bruins … once again.
The Flyers, on the other hand, have lost a series twice after having a 3 games to 1 lead. After being up 3 games to 1, the Flyers lost the last 3 games in a row against the Capitals in 1988 and again against the Devils in 2000.
It won't be easy … but
Go Habs Go
