Huh.I had a longer text sequence with her but the arrival back and forth is the same as mine and when she asked me the number of floors I texted the number from inside the elevator, but I had lost connection. So, I got off the elevator and the message went through and then she immediately told me the room number and I went up. She also then asked that I not knock on the door. When I asked her about the number of floors question, she said that she does that becasue so many guys get the wrong building and all the buildings at that location have a differnent number of floors, so that helps her know the guy is in the correct building. I guess If you didn't text the number that might explain why she cut it off. She likely gets a lot of strange guys in that student area (including a certain "type" of newcomer to Canada who likes to haggle and isn't very respectful). Not saying you are that, but not surprised she has a quick trigger in shutting it down if she feels uncomfortable. I don't see the floor number in your text sequence?
Ya, I've been hearing more and more stories about the hagglers. Even after agreeing, the discussion re-starts in the room.
