Can't believe anyone would complain about the police there. Looks to me like they did a fine job.
They expect the police to arrive just as he's getting into his car?
People don't mind if the Cops "tune up" a prick like that. Unless there's video of course.

The annoying thing about these delivery guys (mostly freelancers) is that they don't ring the doorbell even if you put a sign at the front door. The only thing you can do is to ship the package to a post office, but you sometimes can't do that even on Amazon.
You can do that with Amazon, they have dozens of pickup locations in your area (unless you live in Nunavut)

Not sure about that. I have tried to buy an uninterruptible power supply that has a sealed battery inside on Amazon and they would not deliver to a post office. Didn't try a drop box though. They could only ship to my place. It could depend on the item.

Hit and miss depending on the driver I guess. I was looking into a Ring door bell cam, but the monthly fee annoys me
The most simple thing to do if you are buying online for delivery especially if the items are valuable is when ordering, instruct. "Signature Required " then if shipment is left on porch the shipper is responsible.

A Yaris, a snowbank and all season tires = comedy gold.
I would have parked my car in front of his and beat the shit out of him. Stupid black guy. What a fucking surprise. Why not earn money like the rest of us and get a fucking job. Asshole steals stuff that he probably canf even get 15 cents on the dollar
Hmm and now he knows where you live and probably has a whole bunch of nefarious friends, let alone you would be charged with assault.

That was fucking awesome. Love how the home owner offered him advice and a shovel :ROFLMAO:
Isn't that a stupid thing for the home owner to do to
offer the thief a shovel when he could have used one
to smash the windows of the car to prevent his escape?

Look into Nest. I found it to be a better more independent system. I pay for the extra monitoring, I think it is like 100-150 for the year. That is with other Nest services

I think just the door bell is under 10 a month and that is only if you want to keep recordings for longer. If all you want is the live camera, you don’t pay anything.

The dude drives a yaris and got it stuck in the snowbank on his attempted escape. Any nefarious friends he may have had disowned him in embarassment. I"m pretty sure hoodlums and criminals you need to be worried about don't associate with losers who steal packages from porches.
