Good for Mike.

There was no need to bring up that history crap. He's been through it, its done and why does some ass-hat feel it necessary to bring it up? Defamation - constantly?

CP24 has turned into excrement even more so after bell took over and places there little "bell" spots wherever they can.

I had to laugh when Tyson said yesterday that Ford was the greatest mayor in Toronto history. If I was there I would have asked him "quick---name another."

Tyson said he heard about Ford in the US so he must be good. He has no idea what Ford was famous for - just the he heard him. Other than anyone with a similar IQ, do you really think that Ford is gaining from the meeting ? They mentioned that Tyson was meeting mayors where ever he went.

Bringing up the rape incident which is 22 years ago is unfair since Tyson has paid his debt. You could argue should someone with his record get on a plane with female passengers, eat in public restaurants ... etc, etc, etc. The guys just trying to get on with his life.

I dislike Tyson. He and Ford are a match made in heaven.

Tyson was not only 100% correct but deserves biiig bonus points for staying totally composed and not appearing overly agitated and did not raise his voice.

That was strictly a promo for his show, a softie, not a current affairs interview. The TV stations love getting celebrities to appear. It's gotta be good for ratings. I imagine this may impact the ability of a low profile station like CP24 to attract future celebs knowing they may be ambushed for any prior indiscretions.

Unless he got prior approval, I'd be surprised if he weren't disciplined. Even a public apology.

Tyson should not have lost his cool and definitely has no tact or diplomacy. But he was on the money when he called Nathan Downer a rat piece of shit. Completely uncalled for by referring to an incident that occurred more than 2 decades ago for which Tyson has paid his debt to society.

Tyson responded perfectly. Sure he may be a jerk... But to bring up a 15 year old incident......CLASSLESS...

HE COULD HAVE ASKED IF HE PASSED ON advice on being a champion....or any other light hearted topic!!

Totally classless question...... No matter the answer.

I wonder how well the woman/women he has raped get to go on with their lives. Sorta thing that sticks to a person from what I hear.

That being said it seems Tyson has changed, I am suprised he didn't work that angle. However considering how his handler pretty much had to answer just about everything for him...

That woman that he "raped" got a million dollars in the civil suit and had previously made other "rape" claims against others.

It's sad that the same people that support RoFo, probably are mislead that Tyson was the greatest heavyweight of his generation
(hint. He wasn't. Lennox Lewis was)

Nathan Downer is a lucky rat piece of shit for wrapping this interview early. You can see the rage in Mike getting ready to let loose.

I think Mike Tyson had a right to be pissed off but he handled it very poorly. He's a classless piece of trash. Kudos to the interviewer for staying calm and trying to lighten things up, unfortunately it didn't work too well.

Poor Nathan probably had some douche bag producer talking in his earpiece telling him to say that. Allot of time these reporters are just following orders. It's the slimy producers behind the scenes that dictate these interviews.

Not that it matters but. I was childhood friend of Nathans. We lived in the same building in Mississauga. He's a good guy.

How does he think anybody in their right mind can contunue talking like normal after being called something like that on air...you can clearly see Tyson getting very angry with each passing second and the CP24 idiot is lucky he got out of that in one piece...no better then Daniel Dale...both are low pieces of shit.

good ...fuck cp24 and that nerd reporter acting cocky with those questions

The best thing to do was to get up and walk away not answering any further questions, or completely ignoring him and continue promoting himself, but the keyboard warrior nerd needs to learn a lesson, you are accountable for the words you speak in real life! He is lucky he didn't get punched out, it's Mike Tyson!!! He's not going to sit there and take it (or walk away), you provoke him, he's going to get mad and come back strong..isn't that what he wanted asking that question?
Stupid decision by the reporter or his producer.
He was there to promote his new show and say a few silly things about him meating with the mayor, not to discuss the rest of his life.
