After a not so great start, I finally got used to him and his style, I can now live with it. Obviously there many others as well or else he wouldn't have a job.
I agree. He does have a bizarre sense of humour.
Some sports anchor people/teams or shows I have enjoyed past & present:
* Jim Van Horn when he used to anchor TSN at the dinner hour
* Years ago (prior to sport specialty channels) Global's sportsline at 11:30 was a great show to catch up on the days action (I believe that Bobcat was the original host?)
* Grapevine (I cannot recall the actual name - channel 11 in the Hammer)- Cherry's old half hour show. He had some great guests and neat clips. Though the show was slanted towards the "good old boy" approach (I don't think Salming was ever a guest), the guests were not afraid to speak their minds.
* NFL Primetime: Best NFL wrap up show ever. Berman, Jackson and guests gave you all the info on the days events in an unbiased format.
* Most fo the female anchors - I am perv and if possible, will masturbate to their image
Sports anchors or shows I do not care for:
* Dutchie - For some reason his voice and body movements irritate me. The way he uses catch phrases (going yard, off the window, etc.) feel forced rather than natural
* Gord Miller - I am slowly getting used to his voice but every time I see him it looks like his face is imploding
* Leaf TV Anchor Guys - The girl is hot, but those guys are lame, lame, lame.
* Landry at the Fan - Cheesy humour and a whiner. Can someone please end those Vinny jokes?
