That's what Cohabitation Agreements and Marriage Contracts are for. Canada isn't as Draconian as the USA, and no man/woman should get married without one. I got one in place and it's a great peace of mind, and the lady was all on-board because it was a simple and fair agreement - what we each had before is ours; what we specifically bought for ourselves is ours; and what we bought together we have always paid 50/50 and maintain full records of all purchases/expenditures. I have the easiest divorce case file in history if it ever sadly came to that.I think it's a little more. It's a roommate who is entitled to half of your shit and who forbids you sleeping with other women
As for lack of condom use for older folks, I think the key motivator for condom use for a lot of people is accidental pregnancy, not STIs. I know in my case I fear them both, but I fear pregnancy way more than STIs since the latter affects my health (likely short-term), but the former affects the rest of my life and likely 18-25 years of my personal finances (and I LOVE my money). Can't wait until my next milestone birthday at which point I'm finally getting snipped! :whoo:
