I googled it and I see no other claims that he is dead. I read ABC and CNN...which I don't trust either but more than TMZ

As of quarter after the hour (3:15 PDT) the News Networks are still saying that he is in Critical condition and that when the Paramedics arrived he was in full cardiac arrest and was not breathing.

Unfortunately TMZ is a good source for this type of crap. His 'troubles' is the lead story on half the major network. Get ready for days of flailing and wailing by his throng of ...... (insert you own word here). I'm sorry his good stuff was far behind him and he was nothing but a freak, a page-filler for slow days.
