You're supposed to say 'Have you stopped beating women? Yes or no?' You're being a real asshole this morning.

I guess you just can't read or you're all to ready to slot things into pre-conceived categories. I suggest you go back and look at my previous posts and stop being a jerk.

I cant think of one original thing that MJ created. His music was all Quincy Jones, the moon walk was a tap dance move from the forties, the glove was just goofy. What was the contribution that deserves the adulation? please fill me in because I dont see it...

He is part of pop culture... he doesn't make up America and everything that it consist of. He represent the American dream where you can be anybody you want to be. That is it. He will go down in history like the Beatles and Elivs. His eccentric image as pop star and his untimely death raise speculation... speculation and scandal sell for media. At end of day it is all about money. he made a lot of contribution to sick kid and such but so do many other people that go unnotice. To define him as hero is not correct.

If you are saying the MEDAL of HONOR was not his, ok

But it does not excuse you from supporting a child molester. Now if you do not support MJ and his diddling children why post the contrary on the Medal

Sorry, not in the same league as John Lennon or Elvis, or Buddy Holly for that matter
Not even close
You insult the legacy of John Lennon & Elvis, by using that comparison

MJ had some talent, but in my opinion that was overshadowed by some extremely serious personal issues

This kiddie diddling stuff & the extreme plastic surgery just makes him a pathetic nut job & that is what history will remember

Facts don't make a difference to the MJ hater crowd. I've already beat them senseless with logic. They're not the brightest folks on the block. They can't separate fact from fiction.

Wow, clearly MJ haters are a freak show of their own.

I can give you arguments but I can't give you understanding. And now I can't be bothered correcting your distortions. You're pathetic.

That's true, only in your mind, John Larue.

I do not think so
The majority of society tends to look unfavorably on adults who diddle kids.

Go ahead and worship the freak if you want & are able to forgive him this ultimate sin.

But I like the majority will always remember him as a guy with some talent (big deal he could moon walk) & as a really messed up person. For that I feel sad for him.
For the kiddie stuff, nothing but disdain, contempt and disgust

As far as his music, I guess everyone has different tastes, however I question yours if you think he compares even remotely to John Lennon, Elvis, Buddy Holly or Roy Orbison
Ask some people in the business

Now you speak for the majority? MJ's talent was moonwalking? He was definitely guilty? You're an idiot. I can't dignify this with any other response. I've already handed your ilk their own asses time and time again.

Musically he's had just as much or more success than any artist you've named.

Lighten up
Don't go getting all pissy because I pointed out some facts about your idol
And stay away from my ass. I do not need it being handed.

Speak for the majority?
If you were to read carefully, you will notice I said "the majority do not approve of kiddie diddlers."
Thats is a safe bet. Do you disagree that kiddie diddlers are bad?

I also said the majority will remember him a guy with talent, but with some serious personal problems
Again a pretty safe bet. Ask a hundred people on the street, you will get the same answer

OJ was also not convicted (the first time) & yes I guess a person is innocent until proven guilty, but lets not be naive
Where there is smoke there is fire. Innocent or guilty, there were too many kid related stories to absolve him completely & put this guy in the same company as John Lennon or the King

If you want to be immortalized in a favorable light, stay away from kids

Sorry have to disagree. he will be consider in the same legacy as these other entertainer. why? because he sold a lot of album just as elvis and the beatles. if you choose to purely look at it from music industry/entertainment standpoint. why do you think he has been call king of pop for so many year before his death? the album sold whether it was his work or not so he had to do something right. sure he had personal issue that overshadow his work. the pill popping elvis and his penchant for excessiveness went unotice until it was too late. all these entertainers all had some sort of indiscretion during their time in limelight.

Facts to digest, MJ is listed in the Guinness World Records holding 13 records, including:
- highest selling album for Thriller at 110 million
- most units sold ever at 750 million
- "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time" including 19 Grammys, 13 #1 singles, etc..
- most philanthropic donating the most to charities around the world

Say what you want about him but you can't dispute the facts and deny him his accomplishments, he did some good in his life, unfortunately with the good comes the bad.

For me, his child molesting activities wipes all his accomplishments out.

Ask anyone of note who played in 60s and 70s about either Buddy Holly or Roy Orbison & you will be surprised at how inspirational they were.
Perhaps before your time

I guess it is a matter of personal preferences and tastes in music, but MJ to me was more about his moves & dancing than any real meanful song writing.
Who has he inspired?
Brittney Spears? Great, another wack-job, who wriggles on stage and writes crap. Thanks for nothing

Over the years watching him try to remake himself with that horrifyng plastic surgry, was strange to say the least. The kiddie stuff just made me tune him out completely.

But each to thier own
