Because we know bullshit when we see it.There have been men on this very board who have come out about their trauma of being abused as a teenage boy with a much older woman. Yet much of the comments here are clearly devaluing and minimizing the victimization of male victims.
To have to explain that again and again in this era means we still have a lonnnnnnngggggg way to go in the education of sexual assault and what it truly is.
He claims that he wanted the cash because he was too traumatized from the incident to work. Sexual assault is one of the hardest things to prove in court, particularly if you are a male who is alleging it. Reading her tweets back when the alleged incident occurred they portrayed a somewhat unhealthy infatuation with Bennett.Because we know bullshit when we see it.
If this young man was so fucking traumatized as he claims, CHARGE HER WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT. Earn my respect, have her put into the system and let the legal system do what it's supposed to do. Forgo the money and do the right thing.
Does he?
No.
He just wants a pay day - pure and simple. To believe anything else is naive. He was initially seeking 3.5 million and settled for 380 grand. Fuck him, I don't take him seriously for one second. If he was on the level, have her charged in criminal court and have her day in court. He only wants cash. (Apparently he had told police he did not want to charge her and initially the police said OK, but now, due to the media coverage, the cops have said that they are going to investigate it on their own.)
This guy is so full of shit it isn't funny. And every guy on here knows it. (Even Canada Man, though he'll never say it. He only likes this case because he sees it as turning the tables on all the women / feminists who have had men charged in the past on sexual issues. In fact, as we all know, CM is fixated on this sort of thing. But I digress.)
Yes. It's *extremely* convenient to assign responsibility to a dead guy.I think she's gone a little too far when she brings out the story that it was actually Bourdain who paid off Bennett. And why say that Bourdain was motivated because HE had a reputation to protect? 1. That makes no sense as she was the accused. 2. Bennett isn't talking, perhaps because of the NDA he's signed or some other reason. 3. Bourdain is dead and can't speak for himself.
Texts reportedly show Asia Argento admitting relationship with accuser.
Explosive photographs and texts purportedly showing Asia Argento admitting to sleeping with a 17-year-old have been leaked online.
On Sunday, the New York Times published a report claiming that the Italian actress had agreed to pay Jimmy Bennett, her co-star in 2004 movie The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, $380,000 after he claimed she sexually assaulted him in a California hotel room in 2013, when he was 17 and she was 37. She has denied the allegations.
As part of the agreement, Bennett allegedly gave a photograph, which reportedly showed them topless in bed, and its copyright to the xXx star, and that photograph has now surfaced on TMZ.com. The snap, which shows them lying down with their heads resting on a pillow, is reportedly one of four images Bennett took during their alleged stay at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Marina del Rey.
Editors at the website have also obtained an apparent text conversation between Argento, now 42, and a friend talking about the alleged incident on Monday, after the Times report was published.
In the texts, Argento told her friend, “the horny kid jumped me” and “I had sex with him it felt weird. I didn’t know he was a minor until the shakedown letter,” referring to the notice of intent to sue sent to Argento’s lawyer by Bennett’s in November.
The friend asked her about the photo, and Argento allegedly replied, “You can see my t-ts. That’s all. It doesn’t mean s–t… He is standing up.”
When asked how she didn’t know his age since they had previously worked together, the actress purportedly wrote that the age of consent is 15 in France and her native Italy (it is 14), as opposed to 18 in California.
She denied the allegations in a statement to the Guardian on Tuesday, calling them “absolutely false” and adding, “I have never had any sexual relationship with Bennett.” She explained that her boyfriend, the late chef Anthony Bourdain, agreed to the settlement.
In the texts, Argento writes that she and her lawyer Carrie Goldberg disagreed with that idea but Bourdain, who hired a private investigator to look into Bennett, pushed for it.
“Carrie never wanted to do this, she wanted to go to the press first and show the extortion I was being threatened with,” she wrote.
TMZ.com also obtained a photograph of a note reportedly handwritten by Bennett on Ritz-Carlton stationary which read, “Asia, I love you with all my heart. So glad we met again and I’m so glad your (sic) in my life. Jimmy.”
She sent the picture of the note to a friend with the message, “He wrote me this afterwards and kept sending me unsolicited nudes all these years up until 2 weeks before the attorneys letter.” Another text reads, “It wasn’t raped (sic) but I was frozen. He was on top of me. After, he told me I had been his sexual fantasy since was 12.”

Even if we assume all of this is true (remains to be seen), she deserves to be outed for being a #metoo hypocrite. She deserves to be taken down for ignoring everything she preaches and pretends to stand for. She makes as much sense as those actresses that treat Polanski like a God yet have joined the #metoo movement. This is a win for society. It won't be the last as Hollywood is filled with liars and cheats.Because we know bullshit when we see it.

ummm..... sorry but I don't think he really cares about earning your respect by proving his victimization in a way that is suitable to you.Because we know bullshit when we see it.

"Many brave women and men have spoken out about their own experiences during the #metoo movement, and I appreciate the b**********y that it took for each and every one of them to take such a stand. I did not initially speak out about my story because I chose to handle it in private with the person who wronged me. My trauma resurfaced as she came out as a victim herself. I have not made a public statement in the past days and hours because I was ashamed and afraid to be part of the public narrative. I was underage when the event took place, and I tried to seek justice in a way that made sense to me at the time because I was not ready to deal with the ramifications of my story becoming public. At the time I believed there was still a stigma to being in the situation as a male in our society. I didn’t think that people would understand the event that took place from the eyes of a teenage boy. I have had to overcome many adversities in my life, and this is another that I will deal with, in time. I would like to move past this event in my life, and today I choose to move forward, no longer in silence."Because we know bullshit when we see it.
