Bumping this, but worth noting that most of the Hardwired....To Self Destruct album is pretty bad ass, with the exception of a song or 2.

Still listening since release and still amped from the show @Opera House.

Many of there fans were still young enough that they wanted to hear the hard stuff, but Metallica decided to start wearing eyeliner and black nail polish and make songs that were much softer

True. I was in junior high when the black album came out and that was my introduction to Metallica. It was a softer album compared to their earlier ones but a fantastic album nonetheless.

I was lucky enough.

Incredible show, all done for a great cause. Great setlist, Moth sounded amazing live, can't wait to hear more of the new stuff live.
