I have the same objection to the proliferation of screwtop wine bottles. The threaded glass necks are unpleasant on the lips. Bring back stubbies and corks.

Most beer I've bought in Europe at the Corner store, or Grocery store comes in 500ml Cans.
They look at you real funny when you go home with 12 0r 24!
