Men not marrying? How deep does "the problem" go?

I watched about 5 minutes and then decided I can't make the commitment to watch the rest of this. The woman rightly blasts her fellow ladies for thinking that men are basically just props in their lives.

Brilliant. Too bad women and feminists didn't think of this point of view 20 yrs ago while screaming for change.

Divorce laws don't favour getting married. Trust me. I get to write cheques to my ex and her boyfriend for about 10 years, while I have custody of my 2 kids for almost 80% of the time.
Also, women want equality in the workforce but still have an expectation to marry "up". There are fewer "ups" to choose from and this takes the pressure off of successful guy to claim a wife. There are less options available to women than in the past if they are looking for a traditional husband as a provider. Just my thoughts.

Why men don't get married?

If you were waiting to cross a road and saw half of the people that tried get hit by a bus.

Would you still want to cross?

I watched all the way to the end. Love it and love her.

She began talking about this board at the 20 minute mark. To get the full value, I'd say watch it from the start.

Interesting theory, do you really believe women have less options?

If women want to marry up and they themselves have spent decades fighting for equality, then inevitably the result is fewer qualified men to marry. On top of that, the successful men have more options as they are a rarer commodity so they don't need to hurry to tie up a good woman. Just a theory, but my gut feeling tells me that it may have at least some merit.

Nice video. There isn't much sense in settling for just one when there is a whole variety of lovely and eager ladies available for whatever suits my fancy. I should also add that my freedom is paramount; I can't see myself sacrificing that for "the one"...
