of society. I mean lets be real, what type of man would let his daughter be an escort? Think it, I assume we are all responsible here. Lol, I hear the reasons women do it, ie the money- independence- paying for law school. But this is all bull. If I had a daughter in this business, I would not be able to look at her again. This is a mans view, not someone who needs ***** sympathy......

I agree, I would have to cut ties with her as well. Unfortunately, fathers are not well respected by society anymore. Most fathers are portrayed as idiots by the mass media, and the modern women simply doesn't listen to her father. I would see it as a personal failure if she became an SP. Although I respect SPs, their work, and the dangers they face, I would not want anyone I care about become an SP. I feel it would rob them of their soul. I imagine that 99% of women who are SPs have not told their parents. It would be simply too much for them to take.

So as long as it's not your daughter, you don't mind paying for it then? Hypocritical if you ask me.

Hobbyland
Boys will be boys...and girls seem to love bad boys. Of course, if the women of Toronto were more like Gloria Estefan, I would walk them home after a date and call them the next day...and would never consider hobbying. But you know and see the reality. What do you expect when daughters grow up in dysfunctional families or are influenced by dysfunctional girlfriends? They don't seek father figures or sweet guys, they seek assholes. However, you should still treat escorts with dignity and respect...and maybe, just maybe, you'll retire them soon enough. lol

Especially if their old man holds hypocritical views like this.

You can't have it both ways. If you really do respect SPs, then you would have to respect your daughter's choice, and show her some support. You might be be a constant nag about whether she's safe, whether she gets tests, whether she encounters abuse and so on, but you'd also have to show her support and make her welcome in your home.

With an attitude like this, however, you wouldn't have to worry about cutting ties with her. She would have figured out your double standards by the time she was 15 and would have cut ties with you long before she ever got into this business.

This drivel is just more rampant, sexist misogyny in the same vein as blaming rape victims for bringing it on themselves, and I'm tired of reading that bullshit too.

It's high time more men here drag their knuckles into the 21st century and start treating women with respect.

Maybe you have never encountered a real man yet? Or maybe you met a really understanding one........
Sorry, sonny, but clearly you are neither.

artmann i am making a point. Look at your inbox, no woman is throwing herself over you am i right over yor last message? I can respect someone but at the same time would never wan't to be in their shoes. If a man is a man, his daughter would be doing something else. I come from a culture where a woman respects a man, sees them as a source of pride. I feel you get punished by being a real man in this day..........

...actually...i will send artmann a private message and i will throw myself at him as what he has shared here is all of intelligent, logical and human...i am an intelligent, educated and extremely spiritual woman and i chose to work in this industry because i am very sexual and find that there is nothing more powerful than combining my sexuality with my spirituality...and i do so here and i love it...
...believe me when i say that i certainly do not require anyones sympathy nor is this industry destroying my soul in any way...in fact this industry has brought me much joy and i continue to find myself connected to it on many levels...
...i will also say that all of my clients enjoy a mutual respect and in many cases are considered true friends...i am fortunate that the universe continues to send me clients who are humanists, intelligent, amazing lovers and are real men...
