Why has a mod not closed this thread already?

This thread started by inquiring about info on Melissa. We’ve clearly established that Melissa is a trans woman. No one is talking about her quality of service or reviews but instead choosing to repeatedly attack her.

I am not trans, but as part of the LGBTQ+ community and having many trans friends - I needed to come and speak my opinion on this. I 1000% would agree that Melissa has absolutely no need to give any information about her biological sex, or any details about her past. Even regardless if she wasn’t post-op, and didn’t have the surgery yet, she has EVERY right to choose to identify herself as female if she wants to. The insulting words and hateful opinions of the people on this thread, is astounding.

So, I agree that because were talking about this industry, it’s a different situation. I do agree that she should not lie or hide that she’s trans. Simply, if she just stated that she was in fact a trans woman, and advertised exclusively in the trans sections/ads, that’s all that’s required. She isn’t lying to people, she’s not deceiving people, but I do think posting in the female ad section, could be misleading. But simply just telling the person before booking/meeting, that she is trans, is enough. I wish that it was different, and both her civie and work life could be treated equally, but unfortunately I do agree that she should be upfront and make sure every client understands that she is trans.

But again, this thread needs to be closed. No one is giving info on Melissa, pretty much all I’m reading is hateful comments that are attacking Melissa. If you have a closed mind, great, don’t see Melissa, choose a different SP. But blatantly calling her a man, using he pronouns, saying she’s “butchered” “dressing up” and commenting things like “front hole bored-through via power drill” about her vagina - which let me remind you is post-op so that vagina is probably way prettier and more perfect than some natural vagina. These comments you’re posting is literally so so hateful and I can’t believe that people are actually that trans phobic and awful of a person to not be accepting of other people. There’s absolutely NO reason to comment things that have been, and to attack her.

Close this thread already.

I agree completely with this part. As long as everyone is on the same page, that's fine. It's wrong to judge her life choices or start attacking trans people generally.

You can disclose your displeasure with people’s methods without coming across as an antiquated, obtuse bigot. Some of the comments in here are embarrassing.

Tasha:

The only issue I have here relates to the Bobbiz 2 choices listed above.

I imagine the TS category doesn't get the same traffic as the female escorts section. MB is fishing out of both pools, and I have no issue with that. But being that it's unknown what 'Natural' means is also confusing and misleading in itself. Why the unnecessary ambiguity?

I don't like some of the words used by others, but let's not paint everyone as haters, it won't help. Call out the hate specifically rather than shutting down the entire conversation. We can't let extreme views on either side of an issue have the power to gag productive exchange of opinions.

Honesty is requiring everyone be as honest and up front about your shared stats and services, needs and wants. Everyone here likely agrees this is an established industry requirement on both sides and the basis for a solid service relationship.

Being misled through withholding critical service information is usually followed up with a frustrated and negative review by the client. Everyone just wants to be correctly informed from the onset.

Not disclosing trans-services is very problematic for everyone, and should be conceded out of fairness. Nobody else gets a pass for misleading others in the biz.

Equality of personal rights and our expectations of each other should apply to all people equally imo.
