After reading that, I'm on the "don't do it" train.
Lexi - you obviously care about what you put into your body, being very publicly vegan. Using a drug like this seems contrary to that philosophy. IMO.
im a modern and ethical vegan. Vanity injections do not have animal products there fore i can use them, I don't have to be a dirty hippy to be vegan. Everyone could use a little botox IMHO
Except I doubt this one has been approved in Canada or by the FDA in the states..
Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland and used as a sleep aid because it is linked to diurnal cycle.
You probably meant "melanin".
I think these creators are actually using melatonin in the drug form, to make up some if not all, of this injection for skin tanner. Melatonan I or Melatonan II, that I'm not sure of.
I use to go to a gym where a girl took these type of pills it made here skin more orange then bronzed looking. This was a few years ago so things may have changed. I would google

I am not certain what "melatonin in the drug form" means. There is no evidence that melatonin enhances melanin (the pigmentation in our skin). And there is no such thing as MelatonanII. You probably were thinking of MelaNOTAN II which is a peptide which has been investigated at the U of Arizona and seems to have some of the claimed effects.
I would abstain from such fads until there is sufficient cumulative and reproducible evidence of safety and efficacy. And thanks, my libido is enhanced enough for my finances.
While it is something naturally produced, melatonin is readily produced in a lab.
Mainly used to treat sleep related issues.
That is why I was specifying the drug form and not the one naturally produced in different organisms to regulate certain functions.

I'm occasionally susceptible myself to dyslexic spelling. Your spelling is forgiven. But not your conceptual dyslexia. Lab produced melatonin is not, repeat NOT the same exact thing as Melanotan II. Google is digit-friendly.

I am fully aware that they are not the same thing? There is no need to make assumptions about not understanding fundamental hormones or chemicals...
Especially specific peptides.
