The average age of a Fox News viewer is 71 that's why Fox News has Victorian looking woman like Megyn Kelly on it. Didn't Roger Ailes brag about watching Fox News with the volume off lol?

Anyways, the younger audience does not watch tv very much, especially these stupid opinion shows. I've been trying to watch Dr. DREW ON CALL, but I often just turn it back to sports. TV is dying.

That person Kelly, what a stupid meat-head.

She probably not even a she, as she probably has a dick.

Someone with a whatever, cannot be that dumb.

That was painful and hilarious at the same time.

This is the problem with the 24 hour news cycle. Put a pretty head on the screen to draw viewers. Then have them present a contrarian view to spur debate and fill airtime.

But they are so out of their element in the rules of logic guys like Reza Asian just tear them to shreds. All the more funny with that "are you retarded?" tone in his voice.

lol I wouldn't be surprised if she has a mentality disorder of some sort, maybe even some issues to deal with. Seems like there's so much pent up rage and anger in her.

There are no competent journalists on television or in the MSM any more.
I disagree with the first part of your sentence. Maybe not MSM but all the folks behind The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Larry Wilmore, John Oliver, etc. (I know they all connect back to Jon Stewart) do a pretty damn good job (not just the hosts but their researchers) of informing us, cutting thru the BS with a very healthy dose of irreverence.

Yes but unfortunately that is not journalism. It is satire.

It has its place but is just as unabashedly biased. And it certainly should not be our only reliable source of news and opinion.

Most of the stuff that Jon Stewart commented on was absurd. The fact it was other news stations air absurd material is their problem - not his.

Making fun of absurdities is not biased. It is just good comedy.

To quote a political comedian: "I keep wanting to retire, but the politician's provide me with such great material." In Jon Stewart's case, it would be: "I worry about running out of material, but then I watch FOX news!"

Fair enough but it's also fair to say he has a decidedly liberal viewpoint when he does opine on the topics of the day. I most often agree with him but I still acknowledge his bias.

Same with the Colbert Report. He is clearly lampooning Beck and O'Reilly not Olberman or his ilk.

Of course Stewart was biased. Maher is so partisan these days it's embarrassing- you can actually play a drinking game every time he says "but the Republicans", and John Oliver has no balls- based on his pitiful take on the Iran nuke deal. When it comes to telling truth to power, it would seem that comedians have been castrated.

No Balls? I rather think his take is influenced by him having a brain. The moronic mantra of the republicans: "We want a better deal" is simply showing how out of touch with reality they are.

Nah... Mildly amusing panderer, at best. Real comedians respect no sacred cows.
