Dakotas is located I believe on Lakeshore and Brant in Burlington. Its on the first floor of the hotel there. (About a blocks walk from Emmas Back Porch) One night when you are at Philthy's, try crossing the street and heading Up James a bit to that little pub there, I think its called Whistling Walrus? Been a while since Ive been.... Anyway, had some luck there, its a hit or miss kinda place though. If nothing is in there... its not worth waiting for it to come in. Happy Hunting!

I agree with Vince regarding Oakwood completely. Especially the first weekend of the month when everyone has their cheque! That place can be lively. As for Tailgates.... go downstairs to The Kitty Tonic Lounge... put your heaviest set of beer goggles on and its all easy pickins from there!

the downstair's of tailgates is now called liquid kitty. they have the crowd is very similar to the crowwd upstairs at tailgates...it's like an overflow for tailgates. they have live bands in the now as welll as a dj. the set up is a little different with couchs and chairs. there is a dress code as well, no hats and no athletic gear.

niagara bars

Try "Cougars" (I'm not kidding), in St. Catharines on Ontario St., near the St. Paul Street intersection. I think it's only open on Thurs,Fri, Sat.

Try "Frado's Taver", in St. Catharines, right at the canal bridge where Private Eyes Hwy 55 is located (on the St. Cath. side). They have long been known as cougar bar.

Try the "Cairn Croft" hotel (comfort inn) on lundy's lane, Niagara Falls. Very close to the Sundowner Inn.
