There's one like this, close to home.

It's on Kingston Road (Hwy 2) just at the border of Toronto and Pickering.

Flat screen TV's, modern decor, even a fireplace. It almost feels as if you've walked into The Keg (and some might wish they had, for the food won't ever be up to Keg standards, which aren't overly high to begin with...)

There's a few like this near me, too.

The one in the video has some styling I haven't seen here. As well, they mention designer brands for some of the furniture.

But it's a cash cow for the shareholders, just ask Bill Gates and Bill Ackerman :)

BTW, McDonalds coffee is better and definitely money for value compared to Timmys.
Seconded on the coffee.

They had so called Gourmet Mc Donalds eg in Florida.

I dont particularly care for them, like Tim Hortons coffee better, although Mc Donalds coffe is not bad actually.

and will be laughing all the way to the bank. Take a look at how many people go through a McDonalds in a day.
I would laugh non-stop had I invested a truckload of McDonald's shares and received increasing quarterly dividends, instead of spending/blowing the same dough to popular MPA/SP.

But again no matter how turned-on you are, like a young extremely horny dude in a "whorehouse" full of hotties, something Warren Buffett once used to describe his excitement to invest in good quality blue-chips in distress situation, you only have limited resources no matter how many bargains littered all around Wall Street, Bay Street in early March.

On 2nd thought, you would definitely be laughing all the way to the bank if you invested in Goldman Sachs shares in double digit almost a year ago.

It's really sad the amount of money Mc dee's spends on marketing and brand recognition on such an inferior product.....

My friend is a vegetarian and vowed NEVER to take his son to Mc Dee's ....Imagine his surprise when his 4 year old stolls in after watching a few minutes of T.V and demands to be taken to the promised land they call the "Golden Arches".....

I'm not surprised. The book "Fast Food Nation" devoted a chapter to Mcdonald's marketing, especially aimed at children.

Did you know one exec referred to the golden arches as a pair of nourishing breasts, inviting children to the chain?
