I have been going here for over 10 years and have had a variety of attendants. Always some sort of finish offered at the end of a generally good massage. Last night at 815pm, I called to see if I could get in. Natalie and Annie were working. Both were new to this place. Annie was available. At 830pm, I climbed on the table, at 840, she told me the massage was finished. I asked for the finish, she replied" I don't do dat(french), pay me $45 at the door." I was pissed! I told her at the front door that the $45 was to be a 1/2 hr massage. She argued it was, so I paid $35 and left her standing there. She is lucky to get that. That is it for me at Maureens. All the long term MPs left(Brigette,Caroleanne,etc). Something obviously happened,maybe all the LE busts a couple of weeks ago..I was driving my car by 845pm....

I have failed to find a consistently good massage spa in the Ottawa area. It has always been hit-or-miss. Over the years I tried a variety of places, only to be disgusted with the general cleanliness and almost half-hearted attempts at a good place. I also found Ottawa to be inordinately expensive for what was offered.
I have had much better luck seeing private MPs and SPs in the Ottawa area, but based on what I have read and heard, it can also be a buyer-beware situation.
I don't know what to suggest to you pa59 - usually when you want a massage, you don't want to have to spend three days planning it - which is what normally must happen with private MP and SP's. They're just not setup for the spur of the moment decision to get your rocks off that most guys want.
I don't follow the Ottawa scene closely enough to know the LE situation there, but it seems to me that someone could make a killing if they were to setup a clean, well-decorated, easy to find, free parking, massage spa with decent staff. Things seem to be so screwed up there right now, that anything well thought out and executed would do well.

Yes and that place would be Inner Image. The location is great - low key with only one room with a shower in it, free parking, the staff are the best and the rates are consistent and reasonable. And they run a strictly by-the-book operation. All the others I have been to pale in comparison. They are in the phone book.

The Bikers run the mps here and its there way . There is diffrent laws here than in TO and it makes it harder to run a great MP or SP set up here.

It's personal taste but Carol is even better in my opinion. She's older (41) but if you like older women she's the wild one there. I saw her today. Speaking of which, I think I'm done promoting that place because it was very hard to get an appointment today.
I don't believe the statement about the bikers running the MPs in Ottawa. Which ones? All of the decent places I know of are independent.

Calm down buddy. I'm only going by what the owners of various places in Ottawa tell me. I'm talking about places like Magic Hands, Inner Image, Michele's, Bodycare. Where are you talking about?
I would have to agree years ago bikers did rule these places but for someone who has been at this for awhile and that is more than 10 yrs bikers may run a couple playes now like triple A spa but not all of them and yes I would say they run all the SC's still always have but not MP's
