This is about as credible a website as something by Alex Jones. In other words you just posted an link to a website that is useless to the conversation.

Got anything credible?

Get real now. You are hearing it straight from the horse's mouth! The website is quoting Harper word for word. And everything Harper is saying here is consistent with what he has said in the past on this subject.

Your implication in using the words "barricks" implies large numbers in a military style operation. That is false. They are and continue to go after human traffickers, underage pimpers and the like.

In other words the scum we all hate. And yes. After the users of said underagers as well. Who also deserve what they get.

They won't be going after the good legit agencies. Cripes they use them!

What you are describing is how you want them to police c-36, that's not what Harper said.

When and where did the Prime Minister say this. Where is the article in the Globe and Mail, The National Post, the Montreal Gazette, the Toronto Star etc. . . about this speech?

Or is this like

RCMP c-36 barracks will be set up in all major cities
When what was actually said was:

The Conservative Party has promised to establish new RCMP human trafficking teams in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg, and double funding to help ex-sex trade workers re-integrate in society, and the proclaiming of February 22 as “National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.”

"Human trafficking" means "agency" so yes he is promising a crack down on the industry.

The Winnipeg Free Press link above is a credible source.

This will be harder to come by if Mr. Harper wins again.

Quite right. Anyone who doesn't grasp the fact Harper is promising a crackdown on the industry is in denial or they've been brainwashed by the Cons. If the Cons win another majority C36 will be vigorously enforced. The Cons owe it to their base. There is no question about that.

No, its you that is a fool to defend the man who gave us C36.
Harper couldn't enforce C36 previously, but if he gets back in power again who knows what he will do.
Who knows what Justin will do ?
Who knows what MulCair will do?

What a stupid approach

Use some common sense
Law enforcement will apply resources to impact human trafficking, abuse of minors & pimps.
and rightly so
They do not have the resources to go after consenting adults engaged in pay for play

I suppose you prefer to allow pimps to run under aged girls , just so you can give your paranoia a rest
What an idiot

We know that this is something that Harper backs.

Use common sense, don't elect someone who promises to make the hobby illegal.

Are you really this brainwashed, uninformed ? Before c36 there were plenty of laws on the books to deal with trafficking / minors/pimps! Harper is promising a lot more enforcement than that.

We both know that Harper is going to target the regular industry, not addicted teenage girls. You have seen enough news articles to know that the word "trafficking" is used far more broadly.

As Avatar said, there were already laws to protect minors.
Nobody on this board, and most definitely me, thinks teens should not be legally protected from the hobby.

Your offensive and disgusting accusation just shows you really don't know shit.

Any sense in your statement that is of any relevance to what Frankfooter was implying? Then you go and accuse others of not thinking before making irrational statements. Rolling of my eyes.

If you had a clue you would know that the previous laws were not properly dealing with trafficking / minors/pimps! and that is why a new stronger law was passed

You're a complete fool and know absolutely nothing about the intentions of BillC36 and your poster boy Harper's intentions towards the industry along with his religious evangelical base.
