I find it interesting all these posts by new members that want detailed information even though there is countless reviews to read.

I get your point, but even "Durham's Finest" aren't that lazy & obvious.

I stopped giving responses to people that want reviews or recommendations if they haven't posted reviews of their own first. Call me old fashioned, but the way I look at it, you have to give something to get something.
Makes me wish, and I hope the mods see this, that we could pin some of our general threads to the top of the first page underneath the mods pinned threads. Stuff like user-made, general threads like our advice for newbies, our top ladies in Durham, top MPAs, red flags on ads not to see/respond to/avoid, etc. Stuff that gets asked ALL THE TIME.
Maybe if they don't want to give us the ability to pin threads because they don't want us pinning every single thread maybe they can pin certain threads on request? Idk. But it's an idea
I think many are just lazy and maybe afraid too. They want to know exactly what’s going to happen for their encounter and don’t want to take any chances.
Which I understand especially with how much more it costs to take those risks now. However, at the same time, those risks have to be taken. We've all taken those risks and others should too. As I've said before, whether the Intel is positive, negative, or in between. It's all valuable for everyone.
Not only that, but not all of the known reviewers are about to see or even want to see every provider out there. We just can't. It's impossible. We can't see everyone even if we did want to. So many Intel request threads go unanswered.
The way they see it is it's easier and sometimes faster to ask others. In reality though, it takes only a few minutes to search keywords and the last 4 digits of phone numbers. Rather than waiting potentially up to hours or even days for someone to answer a thread.
Even if they do go see a provider who has positive reviews or the stamp of approval from someone else it's never guaranteed they will have the same experience. If you're interested in someone, just go see them and whatever happens is whatever happens, come back and report the Intel.
This board is around because of reviews and it dies if people only ask for intel, without providing anything of benefit in return.
Learning to use the search function is paramount, and sometimes one can find their questions answered there. I'll admit with changing names and numbers, it's sometimes difficult, but ffs, first and foremost, you need to do your due diligence!

And i suspect all of the new users in the last few months, am saying are people that where on here before, and got ripped some questions and
posts, and blocked by some of the respectful users to have great reviews, so they start over and no one knows. I could name a few that have
disappeared in the last yr, am sure they are back on here incognito. JMO
I’m the same way but I have to say I’m getting really tired of actually having to call out the new members or even members who’ve been around 5+ years who just don't contribute. I’ve begun going directly via DM to guys who I know contribute and will continue to do that more and more.
I'm not a newbie but i don't post much. I always ask my spa girls if they want me to post and they say no most of the time. Too m any eyes watching the boards. But i think you're confused about this particular forum. It's called 411. It basically exists to ask for information. If your frustrated, don't read or contribute to this one. Leave the newbies alone. They wont be newbies for long. Now if they start asking for info on the other boards, have at em.....
I wasn't going to bother responding to this comment given you chose to make your fourth post in 6 years as the one above. I found it especially interesting that you would choose to make this comment in this thread where you and the original poster are the only ones who don’t contribute, and where the rest of the members in this thread are all contributors and we are talking about how we no longer want to provide any intel to “new members” and members like you who aren’t new but don’t contribute. It shows us after 6 years you still don’t really understand the whole point of both the 411 and the Escort Review forums - that we are here to share our experiences and our intel and that those flow two ways. Of course we understand what the 411 is about but if you ask for info someone needs to contribute to it to have a properly functioning forum, and literally we are all saying we have begun not providing back intel to people who don’t contribute. So thank you for your recommendation to do just that because we are taking you up on it.
