Generally, I have found that I get along better with Independant MPs, but I still partake occasionally of the various clubs.
This post isn't about any specific provider, but rather about their web sites. I've fed some of this back at times, but sometimes it's just general. Maybe someone here cares. Or maybe I'm just venting....
Let me give the list here of sites: http://clubcmj.com, http://www.brassclub.ca/, http://www.angelstouchmassage.ca and http://paradisespaandtanning.com, https://alogroupmassage.com/ and http://clubharmony.ca/. Many of these require memberships/logins. I have been to all of these places at least once.
I don't use my mobile phone much to peruse much of this; too hard to assure myself privacy against nosy kids who want to play Pokemon GO. Still, I do value the sites that are mobile friendly, except when it gets in the way of actually having a decent site.
My comments here are not intended to hurt or put down. In particular, I've found no clear relationship between site quality and session quality. Could there be an inverse relationship? Not clearly. There is some logic though to the view that the cobbler whose children have no shoes is the one who is simply too busy! Why spend money on advertising if you are already too busy?
Let me start with the worst sites, since they are the easiest to criticize. That would be clubharmony.ca. To look at their site it doesn't seem like they are going concern. It actually took more than a month after my first visit (arranged directly with the lady) to get a login, and even after that, there isn't anything there other than links to twitter accounts. Okay, interesting approach, but *I* at least aren't going to use my regular twitter login for this. So another fake account I might need to make. Maybe it works for some segment of the population. At least, the rest of my comments about profiles and the like don't apply since there isn't any place for them to apply to.
Next on the list is alogroupmassage.com. A weird agglomeration of the MPs from the early 1990s. I haven't been to all locations.
It's next on my list mostly because the old site was so bad. So perhaps it's unfairly second worst. Recently, they redid the web site to be mobile friendly, and when you look at the schedule, there are some seriously good ideas. 1) you can click on the name of the MP to get to her page! 2) You can see who is available on a particular day, although you have to pay attention to the times. (9-1. Presuming that is 9am to 1pm). 3) Kudos, when they update the schedule on Sunday, they leave the previous Sundays' schedule in brackets. It's not entirely obvious at first. But still... it's sunday afternoon, and my best guess if I want to make a 9am Monday appointment is to guess the schedule is the same as last week. So, click on a MP and you get a page with some pictures. Can you scroll through them easily? Sorta. They scroll on their own (I hate that). Are the pictures the same size/quality? Nope. So the "NEXT" button moves around. When I click on the photo rather than getting a bigger photo, I actually get a smaller one, but actually, that one is more manageable. Do I know anything about the MP? Such as when she is on, or better, a picture that includes a piece of paper with some writing in it? You know, so that we are sure it's not fake pictures?
brassclub.ca: they have solved the Sunday problem by posting next week's schedule earlier. That's great. But, you can't see who is available for any given day. A lot easier if you know who you'd like to see you can scan across, but "who is on today" is just a loss. So you can click on the ladies' name and to her page. But, fewer than half the pages have any real description, neither written by the lady (or ghost written by mgmt for her), or even just written by mgmt. Many reviews: which are great, but they often fail to give me any real insight here. And while I was really enthusiastic to have a place that was downtown (near work!), I am probably too old for the <22 set featured here. (Same age as my friends' kids...) Rather than feel warm and inviting (which I think brassclub is actually), I feel a bit more like I'm just a wallet.
clubcmj.com: the "original" membership club. I've only been once, and it took a couple of years to get to that. Too much driving for me... if I have to plan that much, I can go many places. If there is an order to the list of hostesses, I haven't figured it out. Could it be by those who are on now? Could it be newest to oldest? It's sure not alphabetical. You can scroll through the list using a "next" button at the bottom of each MP's page. (Please move that button to the top of the page) But, on each MP's page, you can't easily browse through the photos. Not even an autoscroll to annoy me. Well, I live on middle button, which now works way better than it used to. When are the ladies available? Go find the schedule. Can you, from the schedule get to the Hostesses' page? nope. And did I mention, not alphabetical... I should mention that while I've been only once, it was totally awesome. So maybe this is a case of Cobbler's kids has no shoes. Again, I find the lack of write-ups a problem. They used to be better. I really do find them interesting, particularly if I'm going to engage in an Indulgent or Novelty appointment. (My second appointment was going to be a Trifecta; but I wanted to be surprised. Things fell through)
Angels Touch/Paradise. I can never remember the domain names. paradisespatanning.com? angeltouchmassage? angelsmassage.ca? Google.
Why have two domains that point to non-identical sites? and Enter on paradisespa just goes to angelstouchmassage. Remember the 1990s when the marketing people couldn't get that you could have a web property that didn't start with www.? The schedule is pretty well done. Morning/Evening shift split up, location split up easily. Can click on the MPs name to get to their page. Some caveats about the exact hours they work. But, if you know who you want, you are told: "Call to find out where I’m working today:", surely the database could be convinced to spit that out? Some ladies, such as Maya at: http://www.angelstouchmassage.ca/site/the-angels/mayas-profile/ have a very clear profile. The endorsements/reviews are good. So then on http://www.angelstouchmassage.ca/site/the-angels/biancas-profile/ we have a description written by mgmt. okay. http://www.angelstouchmassage.ca/site/the-angels/alanas-profile/ mgmt didn't have time to write much, and it isn't clear when they will write more.
[ps: I'm not a professional web designer. I did run a web server in 1993... ViolaWWW, Lynx, Cello... what a revolution Mosaic was...]
