I don’t engage people.
Only once when a guy was yelling by-laws at a teenager/young adult tending cash at the grocery store. And all I said was that she was just an employee doing what she is told by her boss so she doesn’t lose her job and if he had an issue with the mask mandate he needed to take it up with the manager or the government because this poor girl can do anything but be your verbal punching bag. That got his attention and he huffed and walked out. He was mad and had his opinion but he figured out the girl had absolutely nothing to do with it.
But other then that - I don’t know who is exempt and who is just an anti-masker, so I stay out of it.
How much I hate wearing a mask as a healthy person (doesnt make sense to me and I know about asymptomatic) I still follow the rules.
I would never rant or yell at an employee. We were all there at one time or another. You're there for a paycheck and not to be an enforcer. Also, as a father to 2 kids, it would kill me to know that a customer or person bitched at them. I can only imagine other parents feel the same way?
And as for the exemption? It doesnt exist!!
I've heard and seen people with legit exemptions refused entry into a store owner business as the store owner implemented their own rules on masks.
So, why have exemptions when stores make up their own rules and dont follow BY-LAW rules?
Seems the same will be true when it comes to vaccinating employees.........against their will because, you know, like our culture is today they'd lose their job!
