Chris Evert had her cancer battle last year. Martina and Chrissie are always trying to one-up each other. Seriously, though, I wish nothing but good thoughts to Martina. I always admired her game and I think coming out of the closet at the time she did was a very brave action. It’s between her, Steffi and Serena for the GOAT. I couldn’t argue too much against any of the 3 choices:

Did Martina get Iga's phone number? Martina lives and is the director of the Miami Open. Iga could become the youngest player to win the Natural Slam, Wimbledon will be the biggest challenge.
It's impossible not to mention Chris Evert when talking about Navratilova.

Agree with the GOAT comparison. What a great competitor and athlete.
Sickens me to read this about Martina. Every time she speaks I'm impressed by her.
I thought she showed tremendous courage in her vocal efforts against trans athletes competing in female tennis.
Martina won nine Wimbledon Titles, still the record for female players. At the time she and Chris were so far ahead of everyone else that they won almost every Major. I could be wrong but the only players to break their cycle were Yvonne Goolagong and Tracy Austin. I hope she pulls through, tennis needs her class. On a side note, Margaret Court turned 80 last year, she's ruined her prestige by opposing same sex marriage.
