its a reality show meaning they tell people how to act, what to do, what to say. They are not paying camera people and production crew to follow people 24/7. They don’t have that budget. They just tell the cast what to do film for like 4-6 hours then do reshoots if needed. It is a reality show with boats and camera men following them. So what is the financial compensation for this intrusion of privacy ? It seems odd that that doesn't seem to factor into the marriage equation.
As far as gold to the family - it is a real thing. The amount of gold is a matter of pride. I hardly think this is isolated thinking. How many girls flaunt the size of their ring and potential groom's earning ability here ?
I 100% agree with you. I don't watch any these reality shows for the same reason. I would be curious the audience perception if the same series occurred with hidden cameras. The lowest of the low these shows would go was a reality show 'Growing up Gotti' which highlighted people whose only claim to fame was being related to notorious killer/gangster.its a reality show meaning they tell people how to act, what to do, what to say. It not really an invasion of privacy as these people are just cheap terrible actors. It’s all for entertainment and there is unfortunately a large amount of foolish who believe it all despite the large amount of evidence that proves it’s all fake.
