The Maple MAGAs still have an iron grip on the Conservative Party, which is good news for Mark Carney. PP will get to contest a by-election in rural Alberta. The current MP is stepping down for his fearless leader.

Also, most of the Maple MAGA that I know or follow are all crying like little bitches about the election. It was rigged, PP's riding was gerrymandered. The Liberal paid immigrants to vote. The list of grievances goes on and on. This "American" style of crying over the loss is just pathetic...

i have not seen any of that on this board
the liberals won , that's a fact that nobody is disputing

just like its a fact the same corrupt arrogant liberal MPs will be applying their same failed policies

BTW the Maple MAGA routine is bullshit and wearing thin
conservatives are not at all pleased with Trumps tariffs or his 51 first state bullshit
Pierre P is not the Maple MAGA

you clowns have built up Carney as a savior from the bad orange man , just like you built up the moron Trudeau as an inspirational leader / when he was a bumbling fool
once again you chose image over substance

well Carney got a reasonably solid minority mandate, as a savior from bad orange man ...... he had better deliver

Johnny when you go to the ballet do you bring your kazoo?

Posterity will judge Trudeau less harsh than you will. He played it smart, moving the CCP to the far right with their support of the Canker Convoy. Now PP is going to contest a bi-election in a rural riding in Alberta. He should change his name to Pierre Mendacity. Erin O'Toole was right all along, he warned his party not to engage in vicious rhetoric and scurrilous sloganeering. PP played his card, he came off as the Grim Reaper, Premiere Douglas didn't support him. PP likes the perks of being a political leader, you wish his Party has treated O'Toole better.

Johnny enjoy the ballet, try not to be too disruptive.

Although you and I disagree about nearly everything, I am forced to agree with you on this point.

The so-called "Maple MAGA" traitorous assholes are not the majority of the CPC; they're a fringe minority and, in fact, most people of this ilk are probably more likely to be supporting the PPC.

Even a fair number of the CPC supporters who were pro-Trump four or five months ago have done a 360 on their opinion of him since the trade war and his treats against us began. I personally know at least two.

Maple MAGA ain't going down without a fight. Pee, Danielle, Andy ("I was almost an insurance agent, except I failed my exams") Scheer and ugly bald guy Jamil Jivani are ramping it up against the Eastern provincial premiers who stood back and let Maple MAGA sink like a beaver with a massive fentanyl suppository up its tail.

i have been consistent on Trump
He is a mean-spirited, vindictive egomaniac and i would have preferred he had not run again

i do agree with some of his policies
ie shrinking govt

Obviously I disagree with his 51st state bullshit and the Tariffs against Canada.
We had a deal, he signed
'My word is my bond"

The US economy is predominantly domestic so the US can play chicken wrt Tariffs against any trade partner who is export oriented (Canada)
We will not win a prolonged trade war with the US , so best to get a deal done.
