Can't argue that one. Not just once but how can you get suspended back to back years in 1st round to the same team.

Leafs 3rd line really needs to be rebuilt. That was suppose to be their advantage.

Gardner is what he is. Can't make plays under pressure. On Dermott's give away Boston player sat on the blueline cutting off the stretch pass.

I just hate Boston's sport teams Superbowl champs, Red Sox, Bruins. TFC started to handle New England Revs easily lately. I just hope the Raps blow away the Celtics FFS.

not always sure...
Advance notice. I'm just fuckin pissed so if I come across rude or insulting, I'm sorry. Go Leafs Go!
At the end of regular season the Leafs had come within two narrow hair-widths of missing the playoffs entirely, so let's appreciate that they made the post-season and we were able to enjoy the first round.

After 82 games they were just two games away from golf season, so consider this round a plus - it could have been worse.

I would give you that had it not been for the decades of shit. Gilmour's/Sundin's Leafs were the last teams to contend for three or four years. I don't appreciate it one little bit. As I said long time ago about this season. This team was not built for playoffs. I'm not gloating, btw, I'm fucking pissed!!!

I don't mean to be disrespectful but really you are a fucking moron if you are happy with this team making the playoffs. maybe you have never played sports, maybe if you did you were the last kid picked, maybe you are just a fucking moron, really it would be difficult to figure out exactly what your mental infliction is but here is the reality. THE LEAFS WERE MORE THAN GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN THE CUP THIS YEAR. Now I know this might be tough for the all of you that can't think for yourself or who or retarded in some way so let me spell it out for you. Championships are won by talent and the ability for the coaching staff and mgt. to make it happen. The leaf's have a SHITTON of talent. they actually have an embarrassing amount of it. The useless talking heads always said the defense wasn't up to it but that is not what we witnessed. Defense played great except for Gardiner giving up his usual goal per game in big games. What you need to realize is there are games and there are big games (playoff games) two completely different animals. This team will never win under Babcock. Gardiner has to be shipped out ASAP. Toronto hockey media and fans are so retarded, I'm starting to realize why half the fans in Toronto actually cheer for other teams.

No worries Gardiner (UFA) won't be back. He plenty of chances to redeem himself but can't do it. Kadri should not be back. And Nylander is "where's fuckin Willie (not Waldo)".

I know you're pissed right now but name calling and hurling insults just because someone posts different opinions are totally uncalled for. All you're doing is just making yourself look childish.

Carvher, if you believe that the Leafs had even the remotest chance of winning the Cup, I suggest you fall back to milder brand of verdura.

After they lost Game 6 it was a foregone conclusion and Freddi couldn't do anything about it. It came down to the Bruins top four defensemen being better than ours. The Leafs couldn't match up against Krug and Carlo who were the MVPs of the round. It may not matter since Torto's Blue Jackets are well rested. Finally there was a subsection of Leafs fans that hated Mats Sundin, he had to live with it throughout his time here. His legacy grows, in spite of being yoked with a joke management, he knew how to handle Zdeno Chara. Chara was in his 20's then, none of the Leafs centers could solve him at age 42.

The Leafs need another D-man comparable to Muzzin, no sense in paying Marner a shitload if they can't get another.

I'm not so sure Babcock and Dubas are on the same page. Babcock has said on different occasions that he wanted more size up front and depth on defense. Dubas seems to think he's still managing the AHL and Marincin and Holl are adequate NHL d men. I said before that the Leafs would never be a serious contender as long as Gardiner was one of their top d men and fortunately he won't be back in all likelihood.

I will say now as long as they have $13 millions tied up in a floater like Nylander and one over the hill Marleau, they will never be a real contender.

You can't blame the defense for last nights loss except for Gardiner who should not be on this years team but is because Babcock thinks he is good. Goal 1 and 3 were soft goals Anderson should have stopped. Goal #2 is the one Gardiner basically put in his own net. The other 2 were en. Get rid of Gardiner and defense is shaping up. How many goals did Boston get 5 on 5? Defense wasn't the problem. Babcock is the problem.

Just be happy they made the playoffs? Talk about low expectations. It would have been a colossal failure if they missed the playoffs.

Boston is a good team. Seems they were better able to make adjustments. Series could have gone either way. Game 7 assessment is same as last year but not as extreme. Same result though. Gardner being Gardner and Freddy not being Freddy

What has Freddy ever won? He has now struggled in back to back game 7's. maybe the pressure gets to him as well. Great regular season goalie but what has he done in the playoffs..
Plain and simple Rask outplayed Freddy and that was the difference.

Same old Leafs. Can't make it past the 1st playoff round.

I'm starting to think this team is cursed :devilish:

Good try by Leafs, they played a strong GM 7. But sealed their own fate when they didn't show up on Sunday, and put it away then.

Can't say I was overly impressed with the Leafs playing one man deep many times, trying to work the stretch passes.
When they fail, five Bruins are in your own end, and its essentially turns into a PP.

Jake Gardiner, horrible first period.
I'd really like to see him and Kadri gone next season, and some heart/toughness added. Guy like Wayne Simmonds would be perfect.
What a let down! Agree with Gardiner and Kadri. I'm impressed with how much you know about the game of Hackey lol

That was a perfect synopsis.

There's always next year lol. We never seem to be able to get past the first round of playoffs.
