it was a very good victory for the red devils.

Ending arsenal's 49 game premiership unbeaten streak.

now if only they could start their own streak and rise to the top of the standings.

try eBay...if you try to get it done here, there's a good chance you wont get the proper lettering, you know with the little EPL log and all...

Not from what I am reading on the net. Seems like the ref was playing favorites and some unsportsmenship from a few United players landing one of their more prominant ones a suspension form the FA. Seems like the ref wasn't doing his job properly.

Try the Soccer Store in Square 1..they sell Man U. Kits and they also name and number them at your request for extra dollars.

All I can say is Rooney learned from one of the best divers in Europe, Van Nistleroy. Sol Campbell didn't even touch him.

Also Van Nistleroy stepped on Ashley Cole and the referee didn't even see that. He thought he got away but the video replay caught him.

One interesting fact is that the referee has given Man U a penalty kick for the last few games he refereed at Old Trafford just tells you something.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has been charged by the FA with serious foul play following the challenge on Ashley Cole. Van Nistelrooy's case will be dealt with on Thursday by the FA. He could face multiple game suspensions if charged. Also, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been asked to explain post-match comments. It's funny because last season, Arsenal had a few player's suspended after a heated match at Old Trafford. This time around, ManU player's got away with a lot of tackles that would have warranted yellow and red cards. Arsenal were playing were playing a better game and the only way ManU could keep up was through bad tackles to disrupt Arsenal's flow. They did the same during last season's FA Cup semi-final.

Yes, he has. A while ago, he awarded ManU two penalties against Liverpool in a single game. The ref's name is Mike Riley. I read somewhere that it was Alex Ferguson's idea/suggestion that Riley should be in charge of this game.

I didn't see the game, just highlites, but there is a lot of history between these two teams and it gets pretty heated on both sides. I'm not saying united are perfect angels, they dish as good if not better than they take.

I think this was a good win for them because arsenal is a very good team and united needs to start getting results before the season slips away from them. by the way, i seriously doubt that fergie has any say in who is going to be in charge of the officiating at any game.
