CTV news didn’t indicate the reason. Some lowlife took pictures and reported to US site for entertainment.

10-15 years ago I came across a suicide on the 401. Someone ran in front of cars travelling 100-120km. The news media only reported that police closed the 401 for an investigation.

I was just relieved I missed it. Judging by the cars stopped, it only happened a couple of minutes prior.
And some lowlife reposts those pictures…

We need to award the poster of this to the best post title of 2024.

He could have sugarcoated saying a men lost his life hitting a subway or anything less horrible and creepy.

But no. He sticked to the reality which is that a men was literally cut in 2 pieces by the subway.

Quite horrible because the men most probably did not die instantly. He had time to realize that things were not going well for him.

He may have tried to reach his phone in his pocket to tell his wife he would be late for dinner but then realized he had no lower pocket anymore. Damn he must have said. Before suddenly seeing a light that was the last one.

While back a friend that works on the frontline texted me from the scene saying he was going to be late for our dinner plans. They were on the subway track’s looking for the decapitated head of a jumper. The body was intact minus a hand but the head was cut clean off and rolled halfway to another station .
Anyone that has a friend that works at a Hospital or Emergency services hears about all the shit that happens daily .

This is a job I would be happy to see AI/robots take over. The TTC jumping issue wouldn't be that difficult to solve. Many other countries/cities fixed the issue by installing doors blocking entrance to the track which only open once a train has arrived and the doors have opened. It seems to be a weekly thing nowadays with the TTC and I am sure one the workers would be more than happy to not have to deal with.

All you fucking manly bros cheering on the the thought of some poor bastard living his last seconds cut in half after being hit by a train, would simultaneously shit your pants and puke your guts out while shaking like a little bitch if you ever saw an actual person destroyed like this. You are a bunch of sick poseurs. Fucking grow up. Fuck off.

mods, can we get rid of this thread. Please.

I don't watch this type of videos but this is no difference from car crash fatalities though...I remember a few years back motorcycle accident in the 401 where the rider was decapitated? or was it his back ride?

I wouldn't say that I cheered when I saw the video, but it was quite pedestrian as far as internet gore videos are concerned. Nothing shocks you after seeing video compilations of Indians vs. Trains or Mexican drug cartel members doing Mexican drug cartel things. The world's a horrible place and the internet has made all the horrors viewable with just a few click. Nikola Tesla was right, we have gotten to the point where we can witness man made horrors beyond our comprehension

I think he lost consciousness and died right away.

Nope. Once you start to get desensitized to this stuff, it can't be good for your own mental health.
People used to see a lot more violence on a daily basis - criminals being flogged or amputated, animals being butchered, blood sports and riots, casual violence, hangings.
