I agree with this. She has it all and he is asking for it all. I don't think sharing was in the cards for either of them.Sorry but the unwritten rule is you should share (probably 50/50) a big win. The only question would be if it was a gift as she said or if he did give it to her to hold. She's already claimed at least that much and while legally he might get fucked, morally, he should get at least 1/2.
Probably not. Then she wouldn’t have been able to claim it.Did he sign the back of ticket?, I hope he did!
You can see the wheels turning...lmao.The eyes don't lie...Look at her when they are posing for the pics.
Legally even if she does get the ticket he will get half most likely, if they lived together, which as far as the law is covered there married, and he will get half her assets (she will get half of his as well, but it sounds like the 2.5 million is the real issue here. I doubt with no id and what not he was living on his own. Since there going to los a lot to lawyers, the smart move is to settle for half now.Sorry but the unwritten rule is you should share (probably 50/50) a big win. The situation is that bad it's now a word.Looses isn't a word by the way.
Agreed the guy was caught lacking. Losing your ID is possible. but who doesn't have a bank account? Also you have a year to claim Lotto 649 and getting a new ID (Winnipeg)and setting up a bank account doesn't take long. skill issues tbhThe guy has no ID, no bank account, no way to claim the ticket and no proof he is the sole owner or didn’t gift it. He is not winning this case.
Some may think she is the gold digger but the same can be said for him. That he did give her the ticket as a gift and then expected her to share all the money with him.
Guy sounds like a loser to me.
Sounds like he wasn't taught any basic life skills. Which isn't really surprising. Sad to say. What with never having had money and then getting the chance, (now gone) of hanging onto a windfall, it would have just been a matter of a short time before it would have all been gone.Agreed the guy was caught lacking.
