That's what happens when people control their caloric intake. If he would've had only 1900 cal's per day from Harvey's he would have lost even more.

Amazing how he loses so much weight only eating mc donalds. But he does walk for 45mins/day too. Also only eats 2000 calories. But I guess mc donalds ain't so bad for you after all. Well I'm sure their salads are healthy and so are the wraps.

Next time I eat fast food, I'm going to choose mc donalds!
I think this confirms the the most basic philosophy of weight loss. If calories in is less than calories out you will lose weight. It really doesn't matter where those calories come from.

I imagine there are ways to increase the efficiency of the weight loss but all these diets of combining foods and eliminating this or eliminating that or eating a lot of a certain type of food just make things so complicated.

If you can eat the foods you like while keeping the quantities in control you can lose and maintain weight and you can live with that for the rest of your life. If you drastically change your diet you can significantly lose weight in the short term but keeping it off will be difficult.

It's called moderation.

Well like the article said, he only ate 2000 calories a day, the super size me guy was eating 5000 calories a day on his diet, and I believe he also deliberately stopped exercising.

That's all well and good but weight loss is only one thing. I wonder how his overall health is after that experiment? I can eat 5 snickers bars a day and lose weight but I'm sure I won't be too healthy after a few days, let alone months.
