Oh no. I had the pleasure to meet Malika a number of times spanning last several years. Seemed to me to be a lovely sweet soul. I’m so sorry and offer my deep condolences to all of their friends here who are dealing with such a loss.
Was about to see her about 6 or so years ago when she worked out of her place on Queen but had to cancel and never had a chance to try and see her again. RIP.
I only knew Malika from seeing posts on TERB.
But Malika seemed like a sweet and intelligent person and not afraid to share interesting stories about their personal life and experiences.
Just taking a glance at their list of posts shows how Malika would contribute intelligently to discussions on many topics, and seemed eager to offer help when someone was looking for info or advice.

I knew them from years ago, outside of hobbying.
They were fearless, compassionate and fun to be around. My heart breaks for them and who loved them.

Malika burst into my life with that bright pink hair and genuine smile a decade ago. They were always generous with advice, experience, enthusiasm and dependability. They had my back multiple times over the years without any hesitation and I will miss their positivity in the face of trauma wholeheartedly. Thank you for shining your effusive light upon all our lives! Rest In Peace, sweetpea 
I never knew them but their name floated around the industry randomly and periodically from time to time over the years! This is so sad!

I saw Malika regularly for three years and they were a wonderful person. I have so many fond memories of our times together.
We had stopped seeing each other but kept on good terms. I am absolutely devested by this news.
