For anyone working in IT, or who has anything to do with servers or DNS - just in case you hadnt heard...
A serious flaw has been discovered in DNS* - not in any particular implementation, but the DNS Protocol itself.
There was a coordinated patch release by many vendors today, the Microsoft patch is MS08-037.
The vunerability exists in both DNS client and DNS server, it is advised that patches are applied as soon as possible
