Losers who feel disconnected are drawn to places where they are accepted no questions asked as long as they spout the rhetoric. Q Anon drew tons of disaffected. So did tea party. And some of the Trump people. This idiot seems to be loser first and foremost, and was drawn to the Trump and racist stuff second.
Disconnected loserism is the problem. I bet incel stuff appealed to him too.
Disconnected Loserism… is a small fraction of the problem. The real problem, (imho), is the the very well funded, and well organized effort… from very smart people… to radicalize the “losers”.
Right wing organizers have used the Supreme Court to recognize corporations as people, and to allow for Charitable donations be used for political purposes.
This allowed for corporate money from wealthy donors to get funnelled anonymously into bogus charities being set up by the hundreds… which then funnelled money to political social media channels spreading misinformation.
It allowed them to bypass the media gatekeepers and “fact checkers”. You can now fund “Guns for Freedom” and tell them to spew whatever bullshit you need the disenfranchised to hear to make them hate. You can demonize whatever groups you want. Politicians. Liberals. Climate activists. Minorities and Gays. It’s open season.
And in order to create a good villain… you need a good story. Pedophile rings and cabals. The Illuminati and world powers feasting on the blood of sacrificed children…. Like say the Queen of England for example. True story. 2 of my buddies neighbours told me about in the last 2 weeks how the Royal family has been drinking the blood of sacrificed children for centuries. One while drinking in the garage, and the other while out fishing last Thursday. They believe it.
So…. The problem is not the disenfranchised. The problem is the people creating the disenfranchised. It’s part of the plan.
